Everyone is nice that works there, but there is nothing really special about this place. On the plus side, it is never busy so you never have to wait to be seated.

Beverages served out of 32oz. Ball mason jars. Booths under pioneer wagon-like canopies (indoors). Breakfast portioning more than ample to fill a hungry farmer or trucker. A few unique menu options. We've eaten here several times. Some items worthy of recommendation include; the homemade jalapeno poppers in a potato breading, quiche lorraine, all 3 breakfast skillets, chili in a bread bowl, Navajo Taco, chicken pot pie, BBQ beef sandwich, and of course we can't forget their pies to die for. Eat a piece or take home a whole one. Over 2 dozen varieties to choose from. We've sampled 5 or 6 and all were wonderful.

I was expecting to receive the usual good food that most Frontier Pies restaurants offer. When I ordered my dinner, I added the one time through on the salad bar. I guess I am used to Sizzler where the entire salad bar is at your disposal. I looked through the selections on the food bar and most of them looked dried up and old. Thinking the entire bar was the salad bar, I took a few small portions out of the food bar. The Manager came over and asked me loudly if I had ordered the food bar. I said no so he took the plate out of my hands and took it away. That was bad enough, but the fish arrived very bland and my husband's liver was burned. So, as you can guess, this place it off my list. The one is Rexburg is good, but I would avoid the one in Idaho Falls.

The pie is amazing. Service is a tad slow, but to be expected. Expensive, but what isn't anymore. Needs better decor.
