“Don't miss this hotsprings near Boise”

Just a short 45 minute ride from Boise Idaho, the Springs is well worth the trip. It is a perfect day trip to enjoy the mountains and the lovely hot water. The Springs is a spa like experience with towels provided and an amazing pool. They also have a hot tub and steam room. Pool side drinks and food is a plus. Shampoo and all the extras provided. Reservations on line are required and while family friendly, they do have times that are adults only. The prices are not cheap, but neither is the place.

“Not your typical hot pool”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2014

Pool side waiters, plush towels, and awesome views. Idaho city is a fun little town with an awesome history. Take a break from the pool and visit. But I reccomend the date night, or adults only time. That said, I have never been annoyed by and children during family swim time. The Springs atmosphere help promote relaxation over rowdiness.

“Perfect Boise getaway!!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 6, 2014

These hot springs are incredible! Only 45 minutes from downtown Boise....and you are swept away into calming, thermal hot springs, steam, and hot tub. Surrounded by streams and Idahos beautiful mountains...waiters come and take your order poolside. Not to mention, the entrance building resembles the nicest of day spas, and the staff always very welcoming! This perfect getaway easily accomplished in 5 hours of your day! I drop off my son, and scoot up here for r&r...now routinely. Thank you, Idaho hot springs!!

“Great Day Trip from Boise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2014 via mobile

The Springs has been an Idaho City institution for many years, but fell on hard times recently. Now, new owners have done a fantastic remodel and brought it back to an even higher level of fun and quality. Make a reservation online (even reserve a massage if you want) because they limit the number of customers so everyone has a great time. With 2 heated yurts (food in one, massage in the other) and a steam room to go with the hot springs pool and separate hot tub, here are lots of ways to enjoy yourself. They have even set aside some 'couples time' with classical piano music as well for a change of pace. If you are looking for a great place to take visitors (or if you are visiting the area yourself) you should consider this wonderful venue as a leading option.

“Hot Springs only 40 minutes from Boise!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2014

First, let me say that I love Gold Fork Hot Springs in Donnelly for the laid back atmosphere and awesome multi-temp choices. However, you don't have to drive 2 hours for a wonderful mineral soak anymore. Just a quick trip up to Idaho City is the beautiful newish facility, The Springs. For $16 per adult for an all day pass we swam, floated, visited with friendly, relaxed folks from all over in the huge, main, in-ground pool. Then sat in the hotter in-ground hot tub to get our relax on even more. There were plenty of lounge and zero-gravity, type chairs as well as regular patio chairs to soak up the sun and gaze at the nearby wooded mountains. There is a nice menu of lunch and snack food, as well as wines and beers. I enjoyed the champagne while my husband loved the Malbec. The price of admission also includes a locker, towel, and very nice club-like showers and dressing room with free spa products that they sell there. The Detangler worked great on my long, thick hair. Most days are family days, but I believe Wednesday nights are date nights for adults only with live music. They even have a built-in access chair for folks with limited mobility to get into the main pool. Check out their website for more information and do make reservations, especially for weekends. Personally, I prefer to avoid crowded weekends, but they limit the number of customers, which I'm sure helps. I definitely give this place 5 stars!!!
