We have eaten lunch here several times, usually burgers and fries and they were fine. On our last visit we ordered the pulled pork sandwich special. The waitress asked if we wanted cheese or grilled onions with it. We assumed they were included. Wrong! We were charged for them even though the waitress never mentioned an extra cost. The sandwich was on the small side. The fries were so soggy and limp they were inedible.

The fries and extra charges were bad enough, but the worst part was the ladies room. It was before noon and we were the only customers in the place but the toilet was filthy and the sink was dirty. If they can't cook a decent french fry or provide clean facilities, we won't give them repeat business. From now on we'll go down the street to Donna's Place where they know how to make good burgers and fries at a reasonable cost.

We appreciate your input and are very sorry you did not have a good experience on your last visit.
The boneless BBQ Pork Rib Sandwich has been a popular Special Item we offer on occasion and we are happy to get positive & negative feedback for our Patrons as this is the only way we can better our offerings to the public. We offer this item as is or by adding Cheese & Onions to your sandwich. Onions are not an additional charge but cheese does come as an additional charge of $ .50 for this daily special and apologize that our server did not inform you of that charge. Unfortunately for the french fries, the starch content is very hard to dictate on a daily basis as we serve only Real Potatoes and cut them fresh on a daily basis so if you were to order them well done, we can still not guarantee they would be Crisp before they become very brown and over-cooked. Again we do appreciate your input. With regards to the Ladies Room....this situation is unfortunate and has been addressed and we would appreciate you contacting us directly during your visit should you have occasion to find our facility not up to public standard. Our moto is "If you enjoyed yourself, Please tell a Friend....If you didn't, Please tell Us". This is how we remain after 20+ years a leader in our community for Great Service & Value. For future reference please remember, Our doors Open at 12 Noon Wed-Sun Memorial Day - Labor Day for Our Summer Season. We hope you will visit again and we strive to Serve the Very Best we have to offer, serving Lunch & Dinner during open hours.

I must admit this is one of the best places in the world for their food fun and good friends, I come every chance I get from Wisconsin, these are the worlds best Steaks, Prime Rib and to most heavenly Gordon Bleu, I can honestly say I have never had better. The inside of this place is amazing, if you like old world charm and going back in time this the place for you, old mining world will take you back to before the turn on the century and never ending thing to look at from antiques to all kind of money from the distant past to present. Kudos’ to the proprietors of this wonderful piece of history. Thank Ric and Holly for the great memories and the fabulous times!
