When we lived nearby, we would eat at the Porch at least once a week. Now it is maybe once a month. Have eaten here with my lunch gal pals as well. It is right on top of the Hayden Golf Course, so there are a lot of golfers who grab a bite after 18 holes. Their wine is limited, but a good selection. They make home made soups and I love their cream of mushroom, vegetable beef, and shredded chicken kinda southwest style. My husband loves the Gumbo, but it is smokin' hot spicy. We eat the Moon burgers, sliced lamb sandwich, French dip, love the Swimming Angel, which is chicken in peanut sauce over rice, with a cucumber salad with chopped peanuts. Love the cork screw macaroni salad as well. Life is good.
