We ended up to this restaurant although it had mixed reviews as we couldnt find any other rated nearby restaurant due to the crowds of domestic and foreign tourists flocking Lido.
It took them ages to serve the antipasti, a somewhat dry bresaola and a nice melon with crudo. The restaurant is way too small for such delays. Then we had an extremely salty spaghetti vongole and a rather boring tagliatele with zuchini and scampi, a plate that can otherwise easily be decent. These with two glasses of wine and water at the price of 65€. To our surprise the one of the two equally bored waiters was reluctant to give us a proper receipt and kept bringing back a pro-forma but finally did so after two requests. Ok this is Venice in August but why should anyone settle for something so blant and overprized topped with such horrible service?
