the location was very clean and comfortable, it was quiet, the breakfast in the garden was fine, even our little dog was welcome and the 'stuff' were very friendly and helpful!!

We found this place just far enough out to not be bothered by crowds but close access by bus and water taxi to all the sights of Venice. The place was clean, friendly staff and we felt very safe to let the kids run around the little town without too much supervision. Breakfast was simple but plentiful and very fresh. In all, a great pick.

we're just back from an unforgetfull long week-end in Venice. Thanks to the Villa Paradiso we had nice restfull nights and leasure breakfast on the terrace.
With children it's a great place to stay, our room was very spacious and the kids had room to run in the calm area around the hotel. The sea is only a 5minute walk away (no sand beach here, but a very nice runningpath).
This is a great place to stay after a day busting Venice. It didn't hinder us to have to take the bus & boat to get to the historical center.

Have just returned from a stay at the Villa Paradiso, and both my partner and I absolutely loved our time there. It was so relaxing and peaceful after having spent a day exploring Venice, which was very busy during the Easter period! It was such a nice retreat after a busy day - an oasis of calm in fact! Also, the local area of Malamocco is very traditional - a taste of the 'real' Venice that was, with old styled buildings. The accomodation is excellent and very good value. Lovely large rooms, superbly comfortable beds and a great self serve breakfast, right outside our room! The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay very comfortable. We even rented a couple of bikes from them on our last day to explore the Lido island. This is a holiday pleasure in itself and should not be missed! There is a lovely beach at Alberoni, only 30-35 mins on foot (maximum) and approx 10 mins by bike. We would most definitely return to Villa Paradiso again. Much as Venice is lovely, it's too 'hectic' for us and it's worth travelling a little further away (in our opinion) to find a quiet, peaceful room and a well needed good night's sleep! So many 'city' hotels we've found to be noisy. This was one of the quietest rooms I've ever stayed in, with sound proofed rooms. Perfection! Many Thanks to Villa Paradiso, and we hope to come again one day! Christine & Paul, April 2009

I stayed here whilst travelling around France, Greece and Italy following a conference in Athens. I admit I did have good expectations of this hotel, but I was dissapointed when I arrived. The hotel takes a long time to get to from Venice proper, and buses dont run very often in the night. there isnt much around the area except houses. When we got their no one was their to great us- we needed to call and they came from who knows where. The room was basic but clean. Breakfast was average. There was no internet access. A big downer is the hotel has only 1 hairdryer, and they 'lent' it out to another room and the hotel wouldnt wake them up. I certainly would not stay at this hotel again.
