We stayed here for two nights and we enjoyed our stay. The people at the reception gave us an upgrade ( without even asking for it!). The hotel itself, is on Lido Island but it's very easy to reach Venice st Mark's square by the vaporetto (water bus). The frequency of buses is very good and the number 1 water bus stops at every stop so you can hop in and hop off as and when you please.
The hotel is about 5 mins walking distance from the waterbus station so you can come late at night without any stress. Personally, I like my rooms a bit bigger but given that this is Venice, that's too much to ask for. The room itself, is well designed and cozy. It has a desk, a TV ( has English news channels) and sufficient wardrobe space. However, if you are traveling with huge bags and suitcases, you might find it a bit difficult to make space for them in the room. The bathroom was well stocked and very clean.
We did not opt for the breakfast on day 1 but after having spent a lot more money outside on day 1 eating average stuff, we decided to eat breakfast on day 2 at the hotel. We were glad we did that. There was a lot of variety and it was affordable. Over all, we were very happy with the service and enjoyed our stay there.

My daughter and i stayed here for four nights. We were disappointed with the bedroom but the bathroom was quite nice and very clean. The site gives the impression that the hotel has complimentary chairs and umbrellas on the beach but this is not the case. These cost 20 euros for the day.
The service from reception was generally good but i found the bar staff a little worrying. One evening when we were sitting outside the barman clicked his fingers at me to get me to move. Apparently he wished to close the sun shade for the evening. If he had asked me to move to another table this would have been fine but he was just very rude. As he had done the same to an Australian woman the previous night we did have a word with the duty manager to ask him to explain to the staff why this was not acceptable. I dont think that the manager really understood but both he and the barman knocked on my door later [about 10.30] to try and have a discussion about it. I think in the end it was just a clash of cultures. It was also likely to be a gender issue as both men clearly did not understand 'my problem'.
We are not likely to return as Venice is so very expensive but it was so beautiful.

Room Tip: I booked the room through low cost holidays.

This Hotel was excellent value, the rooms were fine and the Breakfast was fair. The location of the Hotel was great right in the main street., and 5 mins from the water bus , Rooms were a little warm, but generally comfortable. Staff were helpful and overall a very good stay.

We stayed here on our tour of Italy with the Trafalgar Tour Company. It was your basic European hotel. Some rooms have a very small bathroom. We enjoyed walking around the island. It was a nice place to stay for a tour of the island of Venice.

The room was rather small and the bathroom was so dark - dark red tiles with a brown wooden ceiling - quite depressing. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel needs some tlc to make it 4 star, e.g. the carpets, paintwork, etc and the room was never cleaned while we were though, the sheets were changed and the towels but there was dust on every surface. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was quite good. However this hotel is definitely not 4 star quality and we wouldn´t stay there again. The location was quite good for the vaporetto and there were some restaurants close by.
