Booked a Superior Room Overlooking Lagoon. Requested Room 2007 based on a recommendation on Trip Advisor, however, the room was very small with no space for our 2 suitcases. So we were offered instead a larger loft room on the 3rd floor without real view (there was a tiny window close to the ceiling), which we took, so at least we had space for our suitcases. However, the shower which is included with the bath tab has such a low ceiling that one cannot stand while taking a shower. I am not tall and I had to kneel down to shower, I cannot imagine how a tall person can manage with that shower. The room and corridor had a bad odor. The furniture looked old. The breakfast choices were limited. Overall the hotel quality was substandard, more like 3 star than 4 star. For the $346 per night rate that I paid for a Superior room with a view, I did not get the quality one would expect, and I had to give up the view I paid for to get decent space.

On the positive side the hotel offers free parking. The parking space is tight, but the owner parks the car. The owner was very friendly. The hotel is conveniently located across from the Public waterbus ‘vaporetto’ Lido station for Lines #1, #51 and #61. The ride to Piazza San Marco is 10-15 minutes. Line #1 is very slow, stopping at every station along the Grand Canal, but being the first station you can get a seat outside and take nice photos. We bought a 36hr pass of ACTV which costs 21€. A supermarket is close by on Lido’s main street. If you are arriving with a car you need to take the Line 17 ferry from Tronchetto Ferryboat to Lido Ferryboat.

Stayed with eight friends got water taxi from airport straight to hotel. Hotel is not very big old looking not modern but still nice. We had four room our room wasn't that big bit small 205 but friends rooms seemed bigger.our room had two single beds , air condition , mini bar, safe, shower only small hairdryer, room looked over lagoon nice watching cruise ships coming and going . Breakfast was ok cheese., egg, ham, cereal , fruit . Hotel was by water bus to venice 3 day pass35 euros. Lido was lovely lots of bars and restaurants a lot cheaper and quiter than venice . Hotel recommended a restaurant booked it for us it was very nice lively staff helpful .

I'm so glad my husband choose to stay in Lido, a beautiful place & an escape away from the madness of other tourists! The vaporetti is practically right outside your door at the Panorama, another plus! The staff at Panoramo are very helpful & are willing to assist you wherever they can. The hotel breakfast is so yummy, plenty to choose from. FYI, the milk here is so creamy & delicious I just had to have cereal every morning! There is a bar in the hotel, nice to pop into after a days sightseeing for a glass or two of wine or whatever your choice! The hotel hosts a complimentary tour of the Murano glass factory in Murano Island. A water taxi will take you there & return you to wherever you want to be dropped off at. I honestly appreciate the craftmanship of these skilled workers but the glass ware in my opinion is a little over the top! If your eccentric or loaded with money then buy some!! A great hotel that you would return to time & time again:)

Stayed here with my family. Great hotel, very helpful staff who were very willing to suggest helpful hints. If you are staying in Venice for a few days, this is a good place to be. More economical than Venice hotels but with a very good Vaporetti service to St Marks Square taking only 10 minutes.
