This is a great hotel. It is located on Lido, and easily accessible to Venice by vapporati boats. The bus stops right in front of the hotel, making it very easy to get to restaurants, the boat dock and anywhere on Lido. A quiet location right on the beach. Big, beautiful rooms and bathrooms. Very helpful staff. Good breakfast included in price of stay. Free internet access. In Venice, take the #1 boat from beginning to end. It goes right down the Grand Canal and you can see all of the sights.

We stayed last October and to be honest, I was slightly apprehensive as we were not on the Venice island itself - BUT we were so pleased to be away from the hustle and bustle after a long day of sightseeing, this hotel and its location proved to be an oasis of calm.

Rooms are comfy, breakfast adequate (and lots!) I would say the sun terrace needs an refurb but still we managed to sunbathe (even in Oct!).

Highlight of our stay (apart from our visits to magical Venice, Murano and Baruno islands) was to hire a couple of the mountain bikes from the hotel to explore the Lido island (found amazing deli at the other end of island) and was also able to take the bikes for the day on a ferry to a neighbouring island - Punta Sabbioni, where we found the most amazing resturant that served the best seafood pasta EVER! You will find this place on route to the beach - I think its called Franco's?

:-)

Our room was very clean but seemed a little dark as we were facing out of the back of the hotel. However this meant it was quiet despite being situated next to the stairwell. Lovely rooms with bedroom, living area and bathroom. Nice sized bath with two ends. Always a bonus for honeymoon! There was a mini bar but disappointingly no tea making facilities. Staff were all pleasant. Breakfast's were lovely with all that you need to set you up for the day. Easy access to town with buses. Arriving at the boat depot get B bus to outside hotel and A to go back. Worthwhile getting a weekly ticket which allows you to use on buses and vaparettos. Jacuzzi and air conditioning were good when they eventually got turned on as we were on borderline off season. Lovely to have beach so close. Thoroughly recommend for price.

We visited this hotel for a 4 day break. Glad we stayed on the Lido - is great to get away from the hustle & bustle of Venice. This hotel is super. Clean & the staff were very helpful. The only problem is the thin walls. You can hear talking, washing, walking, snoring, coughing (indeed everything) from the rooms next door. I've never experienced such a problem. If we had taken ear-plugs that would have sorted the issue, but unfortunately resulted in a big loss of sleep. Venice (and indeed the Lido) is very expensive. If you eat in the Hotel they charge you a cover charge which is a bit rich - food is nothing special but handy if you don't want to wander far. Would highly recommend this hotel as an inexpensive way to stay in this area.

Unless you insist on being right where the action is in Venice, the location of this hotel is brilliant. It suited our style of travelling to a T. It's nice to get away from the maddening crowds of Venice and come back "home" to the much slower paced Lido. Pleasant to walk to the Vaporetto and just a short boat ride away.
The Hotel itself was fairly elegant. The rooms looked like they were recently upgraded and modern. We had no noise issues from other rooms at all. Staff was very nice and friendly. Reception was helpful with requests. My security deposit box wasn't working properly. They had someone there to look at it within 5 minutes.
The breakfast was better than average for continental Italian style.
I can't see any reason not to stay here unless you really want to be in Venice, possibly overlooking a canal, or you have difficulty with mobility and the walk and vaporetto ride just isn't for you.
We ate in the restaurant only once and it wasn't anything special. Better places on the walk to the water taxi.
For us, we loved being on the Lido and this hotel was above our expectations. I would love to stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel over the bank holiday weekend. It is a lovely place to stay spotless and the staff were lovely. However the only problem we had was the noise coming from the room upstairs. I don't think they were being noisy on purpose you couldn't heard chatting but we could hear the pounding of feet everytime they walked round the room and something rattling I think the wardrobe was wobbling everytime they moved. Also it sounded like there was rain everytime someone had a shower. It was a shame as it did disturb our stay somewhat waking us up with the noise.
Lido itself is very nice and quiet it is very easy to get the water boat into Venice. When you arrive at the airport get a travel card we got the 3 day pass we then caught the number 5 to Venice and there are a number of water buses to Lido from there.
We had a fantastic time it was just a shame about the lack of sleep from the noise.

We booked this hotel based on the reviews here at trip advisor. And at the end we were glad that we did book this hotel! Thanks to the reviewers (who take time for writing a review) for that!
The hotel is perfect to stay. The service at the hotel is great. When we came, we were warmly received at the reception. The staffs were nice and friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and nice. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was good too. Bath tub could have been a bit bigger. There is also a small tv in the room. But for some strange reasons you have to go to reception to get the remote. You can also use internet (there is only computer at the lounge next to reception) free for 30 minutes.
Location of the hotel is perfect. The city center is just a 15 minutes walk from the hotel. But there is a bus stop right outside the hotel if you prefer taking bus. The Lido beach is just 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
We did not eat dinner at the restaurant in hotel so don´t know how the food is there. But the restaurants you find in the center are great. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was very good (not much choices though).
Overall this is a great hotel to stay at a reasonable price. If your budget is tight and looking for a cheap and yet excellent place to stay, this is the one for you! Go for it and you won´t regret!
