We were there with a Go Ahead Tour. This was the oldest hotel of our trip which made it very quaint. We had our son with us so they gave us a room on the 4th floor with a small side room that had a desk, armoire and daybed. This worked fine.
Great location on the island of Lido. As others have said, it is right across from the water taxi station which is easy access, but noisy traffic. From the 2nd floor balcony you can see the coastline of Venice. Beautiful for watching sunsets. There is another lovely balcony on the 4th floor for seeing more of the island of Lido. Some of our travel friends who were on lower floors were told they could not use it, but it wasn't locked and we weren't told we couldn't.
Great restaurants all around and little grocery stores within 5 minutes. Also very close to ATM and shopping and only about 15 minute walk to beach on other side of island.
Breakfast was amazing. WiFi had to be purchased. Front desk staff was not very friendly. About 30-45 minute water taxi ride from the airport.More
