As a single female horse lover, I was looking for a vacation that I could enjoy by myself but would not require me to "rough it" out in the wilderness. Red Horse Mountain Ranch responded to my inquiry immediately and the customer service was top notch from that moment on. I felt very welcome as a solo traveler and was also embraced by the many families visiting the ranch that week. It was the perfect combination of outdoor adventure, great food (and wine!), a super comfortable room, peace and quiet when I wanted it, and the breathtaking scenery of the ranch and the surrounding wilderness. I rode 'my' horse almost every day, went kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, climbed a rock wall, rode a zip line, and even took a 'leap of faith' as part of the challenge course. Best vacation ever!!!

My son and I arrived at the Ranch and were welcomed by the FRIENDLY and AWESOME staff with western hospitality which included refreshments and help with the luggage. FOOD is OUTSTANDING, we loved the HORSE RIDE PICNIC. The FRESH MOUNTAIN air, BEAUTIFUL trees, and GORGEOUS MOUNTAIN ranges make this a Post Card setting all year round. HORSEBACK RIDING, ARCHERY, KAYAKING,FISHING,SHOOTING, CAMP FIRES, or QUIET TIME WITH NATURE are not only activities, but SPECIAL MEMORIES that we still talk about. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME.

My family and in-laws visited Red Horse Mountain in June of 2010. I wasn't sure what to expect by going to a Duded Ranch, but I was so surprised and amazed at how wonderful Red Horse Mountain is.

From sun up to sun down we were treated like family and definitely plan to go back. The staff was absolutely great and took great care of us. It's a must do for a family with kids.

This was the best all-in-one vacation ever! Everything was better than expected. The beds were like sleeping on clouds and the remainder of the cabin was rustic cabin looks with guest comfort totally in mind. The food was perfect...everytime; and there was always a special treat available bete\ween meals. The activities were varied and suited to groups or individuals. (I was a first-time geo-cacher; what a great time). The horses, wranglers, and the rest of the staff could not have been more appropriate had they been plucked out of a western. I would go back to the ranch over and over. This was my best destination vacation in the past 60 years.

Spending a week at red horse was one of the best experiences of my life. The wilderness was absolutely breathtaking. I was worried that it would just be horseback riding and that I'd get bored with after a few days, but there was tons to do besides horseback riding. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. I would do this trip again in a heart beat. Lots of great memories with my family.
