A dream come true!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed May 31, 2018
Absolutely outstanding vacation! Every meal is amazing, everything is homemade, gluten-free choices always available. Maple scones, BBQ ribs to die for, butterscotch cookies...The rooms are clean and comfortable. Never knew Idaho was so beautiful! The wranglers were all fantastic and accommodated different levels of riding skills in our group. Riding was great, up and down hills, beautiful views, lunch rides, walk, trot and lope. They even do your laundry for you!

Fantastic place. Fantastic people. Fantastic stuff to do. We had 5 guys from Pennsylvania, including two first-time dude ranch visitors. Everything exceeded expectations. For our first-timers, they couldn't believe how much fun it was. For the other three guys, this was our fourth ranch trip, and the best of the four, and we didn't think we could get any better than last year's ranch trip to Montana. Red Horse was the best. Great accommodations and food. The activities were great fun and our hosts were a big part of our great experience. I'm going to forget some names, but: Andi, Cory, Rob, Ashley, Matt, Sarah D. and Sarah B., the talented brother-sister duo of Joseph and Hillary, Kyle, bartender/singer/dancer Kay, Liza, Jimmy (may have been 2 of those), the whole cooking staff, and last but not least, our great friend Crystal. All of them and others who are not mentioned here were awesome.

Just got back from the most fantastic and fun week at Red Horse Mt. Ranch. We had a wonderful ladies group from all over the country and even one from Australia. What a great group of women. We were game for anything and everything. Never knew 31 women could have so much fun together!

The ranch experience itself was beyond incredible. Hospitality and fun are the name of the game here. Everyone from the Wranglers, guides, chefs, servers, managers, bartenders, housekeeping, etc, etc. were so accommodating and friendly. The rooms, lodge and saloon were just the right amount of western and comfort. The food was delicious and healthy with a smidge of decadence. The horses were beautiful and well cared for. Scenic views on every ride and you never took the same trail twice. And if you didn't want to ride every day, there was archery, zip lining, clay shooting, kayaking, pottery, swimming pool, hot tub, fly fishing, and more. I can't say enough about this wonderful place and I WILL be back! Oh, and don't forget the fabulous ranch dog, Bodie for those of us who needed our dog "fix".

Just got back from ladies week. What a terrific week, cant say enough about this ranch. The staff goes way beyond to make your stay great. The horses are all great especially Shadow. The food is some of the best I have had on any vacation I have been on. They offer so many activities to keep one busy, or just sit and relax and enjoy the views. Cant wait to return in the future. Thanks for a great week

At the beginning of September 2017, and Close Friend, gave me the Gift of experiencing RHMR.
And what a Gift it was! From the moment we arrived, we were treated with Quality Service from the Staff (Ashley & Rob, and Andi). It was my friend's Birthday, and I requested Sparkling Wine and a Cheese/fruit plate....So, when we were shown to our cabin, there it was. What a Surprise it was for the Birthday Girl!
    It just kicked off a 5day, 6night Ranch experience of a Lifetime~
The horses arrive the same evening you do, and you meet your "ride" for the duration, the next morning...the list of activities is abundant.
Horseback Riding, morning Yoga/Meditation, horseback riding, Kayaking, Hiking, Mountain bike riding, horseback riding, Pottery, Clay shooting, Zip lining(by the way, your stopped by landing in a pond. INVIGORATING!), horseback riding, Archery, Fishing....and a day Horseback Riding/Lunch! In the evening, there were a few activities to bring the guest together, if they chose to attend. A local band, Campfires (one included the entertainment of a Cowboy Poet which a few of the Talented Staff accompanied him. Hillary & Johnathan are Beautiful Guitarist/Singers). Kareoke Night will get you singing, even if you can't!
To add to the experience, there is the Food! Your provided with 3meals a day, snacks, and HH. The Bartender, Kay, is a Sassy & Fun Gal! Always ready to serve you up with your favorite beverage and a Smile...maybe a joke or two! The food Morning, Noon, or Night is Fabulous and prepared with special attention giving to the likes/dietary restrictions of Guests. And, there is not enough that can be said of the 5course Wine dinner! The Chef really out did himself that night! As well as the Staff. The dining room is "dressed up" and you feel as if your in a 5star restaurant....Ms Kay decorates Beautiful using the local flowers....the Wait Staff dress for the occasion as well!
If your looking for a trip that provides outdoor activities, great food, and Great & FRIENDLY service, this is the Place to "Hang your Hat" for a spell~
