We Stayed two nights at the marina arriving by yacht. The channel is very shallow so don't enter at low tide. The island is beautiful, you can touch the nurse sharks, and fun exploring around the area. On the dock you can buy a burger or hot dog along with beers but that is the extent of the restaurant as of April 2016. If you coming by boat makec reservation and check un with Tucker multiple times befor you arrivecso her saves your slip.

One enters the marina and make your way to the main dock/office covered with handmade wooden signs from all over. You will see the lower dock where the sharks also come up on the deck for those that do not want to go for a swim. Have a fabulous time swimming with the Nurse Sharks in their private lagoon. Very fun and different thing to do!

We stayed a few islands over and stopped here to swim with the sharks and ended up drinking beer on the dock for half the day! We had our boat and no one was staying on the island at the time and we were the only people on the dock hanging out with Jamaal learning about the make-up of the islands. They're limited with their water and energy sources and the same with the food; we finished most of his beers and the food was done before we arrived but that same laid back mentality reminds you why you're there - it's remote, relaxing, everything is fresh (when they have it) and swimming with the sharks is an obvious must.

I stayed here for three nights as a guest on a friend's boat and had a wonderful time. Tucker owns this marina and was a very accommodating host . There is no food store to replenish provisions so come prepared. Tucker cooks hamburgers daily for purchase. Watching others clean their fish at the cleaning table over the water was a spectacle as nurse sharks swarmed over the dock at high tide seeking the scraps of fish. The marina had many repeat visitors whom reconvene each year for a social affair, which included pot luck dinner, sunset cocktails and joint fishing excursions. Lovely group of people. You can walk the path lined with painted bottles hanging from the trees posting messages from various guests. The beach is long and has a hut near the entrance where you can bring your cooler, chair or leave your towels while you enjoy the crystal blue water. At the far end of the beach there is a "gym" which you must see to appreciate. Overall a pleasant stay and convenient to Staniel Cay and swimming with the pigs in Big Major Cay.

A must-go place if you are in the Exumas. If they are making burgers get one fast before they run out, there is something magical about them. Swim with the sharks, walk to the crescent beach, and just chill. Have been many times and always look forward to going back. Always someone to talk to and you can make your own sign to put up to signify you were there.
