Spent one night here in mid september. The inn was not crowded, just one other couple. Had a chance to look around the main house and found all of the room unique and inviting. We stayed in the apartment located to the rear of the property. The apartment is BIG with a kitchen, living room, eating area and even a lower level. The bedroom is huge with a nice bath. The views at this property are what makes it special. The views of the lake especially at sunset were spectacular. The ground of the property are nicely landscaped with gardens, ponds, waterfalls and fountains. It is quiet here, and dark. Spent sometime in the hot tub admiring the night sky that was just full of stars. Has a visit from a few deer feeding on the apples that fell of the trees. Since there is no TV we settled in for the night early and fell of to sleep to nothing but the sound of cascading water. HOWEVER in the middle of the night was startled strait up in bed by the calls of wild animals just behind the Inn. We think it was coyotes, but they were loud and close. Lost a little sleep that night but it was a fun experience for us that we have recanted numerous time since our return. We were told there are other animals in the area at times so a little caution might be advised. Our breakfast the following day was delicious. We enjoyed conversing with our host and the couple from England that had spent the night there as well. Recommend dinner at the golf club just down the road from the inn. Food was good and there is an impressive view of the lake from the deck. Will be sure to recommend this Inn and will return if possible. Thanks for a wonderful and exciting stay.

My husband and I knew it would be beautiful, but then we thoroughly enjoyed the unexpected historical connections and stories of this lovely B&B. After a week of western trails and wildlife, we thoroughly enjoyed the comforts of home and the warmth and charm of the owners. We'll definitely go back.

Had the best time at the Bluebird.
One of the best Bed and Breakfast we were ever been to.
Great rooms, grounds, and hey those home baked cookies were great.
Hope to return real soon would not stay anywhere else.

Room Tip: If you are in the area check them out. The bee hive room had the best view of the lake.

The Bluebird Inn at Bear Lake is a beautiful spot to sit back and enjoy the trees, flowers, and the view of the mountains across the turquoise colored lake. We had the Beehive room which had an east view. I enjoyed watching the sun come up from our room. Breakfast was at nine so we were able to snooze more before eating. Food was delicious and hosts were very friendly. I would recommend the Bluebird Inn to anyone wanting a beautiful, relaxing stay.

My husband and I have been staying at The Blue Bird at least once a year for several years. We have high expectations for the properties we select and have always been satisfied with our stays. The home is very well kept and clean and the landscaping is gorgeous. Your room has fresh flowers, cookies and boxed chocolate samplers. Treats are available in the dining room and kitchen. You will love the exceptional breakfasts prepared and served by the proprietors who
are perfect hosts.

Room Tip: ...we love the Beehive room. It is spacious and faces Bear Lake. The view of the lake is lovely wi...

Room was pristine and every detail was covered, property was beautiful, breakfast was out of this world. What more can you say? Halfway point between SLC and Jackson was great as we had flown in from the east coast. Could not have picked a better spot. Lucky to have found the Blue Bird!

Room Tip: Beehive overlooks the lake!

This was our first experience at a B&B, and boy were we impressed with the Bluebird! Cindy and her in-laws go to every length to make sure you are comfortable and satisfied. They often times (appeared to be) gone in the afternoon, which is actually nice, as it provided privacy. We felt like we were in a glorified version of our own home. Definitely will go back and recommend 100% !
