“My favorite breakfast”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

Love the #4 1 egg, 2 bacon and french toast for $5.99 I think. Love the place. Waitstaff are sometimes either not responsive or sometimes way too responsive. Try green eggs and ham!!

“Great place for breakfast or lunch in Eagle”
Reviewed November 9, 2012 via mobile

Joe mommas features homemade from scratch meats, soups, and sides. Everything we ate was excellent, portions are ample, and the flavors are interesting and a bit different from ordinary fare. The special was clam chowder-Boston style, with plenty of butter and cream, nice chunks of clams& potatoes, but also subtle spicing that was both unusual and very tasty. Along with burgers, they also had freshly roasted beef and turkey sandwiches, and delicious chorizo sliders with melted cheese & jalapeños. Salads were also great. Warm, homey atmosphere and good service. Very reasonable prices. Right off of the state hwy just one street north of the Boise river

“Spacious, local, friendly!”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

Service is speedy, even though it is quite a popular local breakfast and lunch spot, conveniently located right off a main thoroughfare, midst peaceful surroundings just a hop from the greenbelt bike and hike path.

We had a traditional breakfast, but will surely try the "Lo Bennie" next time -- poached eggs on tomato and avo with wheat toast and fruit.

“Its fine if you are hungry”
Reviewed September 19, 2012

We had a hard time finding somewhere for breakfast; mostly we drove by cafe/bakery type places and finally found this place. It was very crowded, understandably since it seemed there weren't many choices in town. It was very noisy and a lack of organization. I was happy to be sat outside away from the noise but away from being remembered. My eggs were not poached but solid cooked and I had no opportunity to tell anyone as by the time I saw the server again it was way too late after being served and I just wanted to leave. We did not get a second cup of coffee either.
If you can go when its not busy, its probably alright; my husbands homemade cinnamon roll was pretty good.

We have seen and heard such good reviews for this restaurant but were disappointed. We got there early enough on a Sunday to quickly be seated but had to wait a while for the server. The coffee was so strong we couldn't drink it, even after adding cream and sugar. The food was ok. The sausage patties were grilled, and the effect was charred meat. The hollandaise was bland. The quality of food and drink definitely did not match the price.
