I'm not a Hampton guy. I like the Garden Inns and that's where I tend to stay. But I've stayed at this property before and it was outstanding. I stayed again this past weekend, and it's still outstanding.

The rooms are nicely done. The staff is friendly. The management is extensively welcoming, and appreciates HHonors members. The location is great, and almost every room has a fantastic view.

If you need to stay in Coeur d'Alene while traveling through, or as a destination, you won't go wrong staying here. It's in my top ten list of Hampton properties that I truly enjoy staying at.

My wife and I have stayed at many Hampton Inns and this one stood out for its cleanliness and helpful staff. We highly recommend it for one night or many. It was pleasant to get to see the Spokane River from our room. When we needed to find a grocery store, the directions were excellent and right on the money. The staff also had suggestions for our evening dining pleasure.

My family stayed at this location on our way to Canada. The location has many dining options close by. The pool is clean and not over chlorinated. The fitness center has new Life Fitness machines. Rooms were clean and beds are great as with most Hampton Inns. Nice breakfast bar also.

If you love nature, dogs, ducks and great frozen yogurt like I do, you'll enjoy your stay here. There is a very nice bike/walking trail right outside the hotel door, an absolutely wonderful place to walk or run your travel weary dogs, and a pond with ducks peacefully floating along the well maintained park/trail. It is safe and a nice quiet place to leave your dog in the back of your truck or in your vehicle at night, as the parking lot facing the trails is very quiet and not full of people usually.

This is a brand new hotel, and although they do not seem averse to pets, I am sure they'd prefer they be left outside in your vehicle at night (when it is cool of course) But with the wonderful walking trail to stretch your pooches legs, 3 seasons out of the year, ( no shaded parking areas in summer, and it gets HOT) this is a good bet for doggies!

The whole motel is very clean. I love how they wash the bedding, including duvets(!), after each visit. Breakfast was great, the staff was very kind, big pool and was warm, great area of Coeur d'Alene with amenities close by. Probably my favorite motel we have ever stayed in. Highly recommend.
