Very good value for the money. Kim is very nice and welcoming. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with a California King bed that was very nicely dressed. The motel was also very quiet and seemed safe.

We love this place. Mimi and Kim are very helpful and accomodating, plus room is clean, bed is comfortable, good WIFI, and nice TV channels. A warm customize breakfast is great. Price is really favorable.
We will be back in this motel.

Clean, comfortable, modest. Free Wifi. Free breakfast. Free parking. No laundry or ironing facilities. Close to I-90 and 5 minutes from downtown. Good overnight stay. Cozy family atmosphere. (No dogs) Good choice for our short stay, good value.

We visited the Japan House as a stopover and were pleased with our choice. The motel is very nice, a few blocks from the center of town, has clean comfortbale beds, and the staff is extremely friendly and accomodating. And the price was favorable.

Down side is that there is no elevator to the second floor, which isn't much of a problem unless you're elderly and carrying heavy bags. The rooms are a bit plain in appearance. Vehicle traffic is noticeable. The section of town doesn't look very nice.

A very good breakfast is provided, but must be ordered from a menu and scheduled the night before. This is a minor inconvenience since everything we ate was delicious, but specifying a time made us commit to a schedule when we had intended to have a free morning.

Room Tip: The second floor is a better choice because of the possibility of noise from street traffic and othe...

We booked several rooms as part of a group motorcycle trip through the Pacific Northwest. Despite the excellent service and breakfast provided, the motel is old and showing its age. I have no doubt the rooms were properly cleaned, but they had a distinct, musty smell like 'old cigar smoke'. The linens and towels were well past their expiry date. The rooms were 'dark and outdated'. My room had a very sticky entryway door that required a good shoulder nudge to both open and close it properly (due to building sag.) The high cost of the room did not reflect the quality.

All that said, Mimi and Kim were excellent hosts, and provided a surprisingly good breakfast of steak and eggs (cooked to perfection) that was well presented and more than satisfying.

If there were other accommodation available, I would go elsewhere. However, for an older, family run facility, it wasn't all that bad.

This is a smallish, older family owned motel. The owners really wanted to please, but they were very unusual. The title suites is misleading. It's just a large room with a frig. Rooms are musty but clean. The oddest part of this hotel was the included breakfast. Travelers were required to place an order the night before and choose a specific time for breakfast. This is not what I'm looking for on vacation. After the first day (and a requirement to pay $2.00 for the audacity of wanting both orange juice AND a cup of coffee) we bagged the breakfast deal and went out to eat at a time and place of our choosing. Coeur'd'Alene is a difficult place to get a hotel that is remotely reasonably priced over the 4th of July, and this had high ratings on trip advisor, but it wouldn't be my choice again.

Basic but clean and comfortable. Wifi is better in lobby than rooms but worked OK there and is complimentary. Plenty of parking but no laundry or ironing facilities. Breakfast included in rate was satisfying and could be either cooked or continental choice. Overall good value in spacious room, convenient to I-90 and 5 minute drive to downtown restaurants, parks and lake area. Good for overnight stay. Was lightly occupied when we were there so can't comment on what noise may come from plumbing, AC and other guests. Choice of ground or one upper floor (stairs only).
