It is a beautiful sight and though we did not get a chance to go boating, we did dip out feet in for a short walk--cold! - We can understand it draw for so many tourists...not that much development so you have nice vistas...go to website for recreational opportunities..I still like Tahoe better.

The lake reminds me of Lake Tahoe in CA. but not as commercialized. The park at the lake is pristine. Bathrooms immaculate. There is even a bike repair station. Bike and walking trails. Wonderful place to spemd some time.

Some things were under construction while I was there, but that did not seem to be the source of the anti-dog signs. Otherwise, the lake is beautiful, and the Centennial Trail or whatever it is that goes through there is a great walk/run.

This lake and its surroundings are spectacular. Fall sunsets across the lake are a delight to behold. If I ever decide to jump ship from Camano Island, ths area would be at the top of my list to land.

Best in the Northwest! Good fishing, lots of Kokanee Salmon and Chinook Salmon to be had here. Boat launch access points are a bit limited and get very busy in the summer time. If your going to fish, be sure to launch in early morning.
