It was raining when we visited but we could still appreciate the beauty of this lake.
We had arranged to meet friends at the resort and Coeur d'Alene Lake is every bit as beautiful as I expected it to be. Coeur d'Alene is a great stop for a day or two. The lake is a beautiful blue; the city has a very nice beach and park at the lake; another park, The marina area is beautiful for a stroll on the floating boardwalk. There's lots of activity at the lake. Downtown shops and restaurants are just up the road. Stop for a day or for several days!

This lake is endless - endless beauty, activity, choice and views. There is something for everyone and it's not to be missed. Take the Scenic Byway drive around the lake if you can - 3 hours to historic Harrison (ice cream stop!) or 5 hours completely around. Worth it!

From the lake the the park, there s is something for every age. Very clean , people are friendly. And if you get hungry at the park, go across the street to the baseball fields and get a snow cone.

The lake is beautiful and clean. Some parts had picnic tables. Some parts will allow you to sit on a patch of soil.

My husband and I passed through Coeur D'Alene recently and visited the lake for the evening. We drove the lake road, enjoying the many views of the lake and beach area. Then we parked and walked the Floating Boardwalk. Finally, we hiked up Tubbs Hill to watch the sunset. Beautiful and very relaxing evening. Didn't cost us anything! We had been here once before and did the Parasailing and were looking forward to doing it again, but they had gone for the day. Disappointed, since it was still daylight. Maybe because it was a Sunday. Note: there is some construction going on for a new park at the foot of Tubbs Hill, so the entrance to the hiking trail is somewhat blocked, but still accessible.
