What a fantastic element Tubbs Hill is to be situated on Lake Coeur d'Alene, pristine, friendly, accessible, clean and treasured by the locals. This is a fantastic hike, jog, run series of trails.

We rented a home at the base of Tubbs Hill and loved being able to walk right out our door every morning for a beautiful hike along the lake shore. Easy hiking that even my 70 year old mother could enjoy.

Shady trails, but 3/4 of the way around you can get lost due to poor markings. Great places to swim so come prepared. Rocky paths cry out for hiking boots and sticks.

Located just east of the Cda resort and downtown cda the nature trails make a loop around this wooded hill and along the south edge of Lake Coeur d alene. You can see waterfowl and many make treks to see the Eagles nesting.
