“Little bit of Tucson”
Review of Mi Pueblo

A four month road trip left us missing home food (Tucson Arizona). We figured what the heck, why not try. We were very pleased to find this little gem and even happier to going s vegetarian section on the menu. Service was fine, beer was cold (O'Douls) the salsa wasn't as hot as it is down south, but the flavor was spot on. Honestly if it was hot I think the locals would reject it. But if your looking for traditional Mexican this is a perfect spot.

We've gone here for dinner a few times and the service was good, not overly friendly but good. Not last night. Seated quickly, chips/water/salsa. After that downhill. Husband questioned if his order was right and then we got ignored. Tables around us, he talked them up, do you need anything, a to go box, here's desert. Us? Finally gave us our bill and that was it. We will not be going back, I'll just stay home and cook authentic mexican food myself

Regardless of the day or time we go to Mi Pueblo, the service and food are fantastic. You NEVER have to wait to be seated as the restaurant is big with plenty of tables and you never have to wait to get your food. It comes within 10 minutes every time and it is fresh and hot - very hot.
The staff are all super friendly and we go there often.

The place was clean. That's the best I can say. The staff was not friendly, just business. The food was just not good. Tamale was old and dry. Fish tacos were fried frozen fish. Would not go back.

We came here with our son-in-law and and a recently widowed friend. We had two shrimp plates, an enchilada and relleno plate and a burrito. Everything was good.
We had a waiter we had never seen but he had a good sense of humor and our food came quick and hot. The place was busy and the personel were ones we had not seen before, but even on a holiday things were just the same right down the complimentary dessert. Of course, they serve cheddar or jack cheeses this far north but who cares?
