“Good Beer, Good Beer Cheese Soup”
Reviewed August 20, 2012

Three of us spent an afternoon visiting three northern Idaho breweries. We had a good time at the Kootenai River Brewery. Lots of windows with a view of the river. Good beer, nice bar, friendly bartender. She talked us into trying the beer cheese soup, which was very tasty. We'd recommend the Kootenai River Brewery for a good time.

“Nice place in a unique old building.”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

Pretty good food and good beer. I've had their Kootenai River Brewing Company hamburger with blue cheese a couple of times and it was excellent both times. Their fries are very good. Fish and chips are quite good. My husband had their salmon caesar salad and thought it was good. Service has been spotty. Sometimes they are right there to take your order and others you sit and wait even though they are not overly busy. Still nice to have options in Bonners.

“Don't miss this place”
Reviewed August 5, 2012

The menu at this great little spot is eclectic serving such items as pulled pork, (they have a wood fired smoker outside so it's really smoked), seafood, burgers, wraps, hot wings, and much more. With that diversified menu you wouldn't think they could get them all done right but they do. I had the Black & Tan fish and chips last night and it was the best I've had anywhere. I've also had the turkey wrap, fish tacos, hot wings, and the blue cheese burger. All top notch. They have a limited number of micro beers brewed on site but they do it right. The huckleberry pale ale is a five star. Priced moderately and worth every cent.

“Loved the chicken sandwich!”
Reviewed August 2, 2012

All around a great restaurant for the area. We enjoyed three meals there on our recent stay in the area. Consistently good food and friendly service. The atmosphere is open and inviting with nice views. There was live music on Friday night. The place seemed to appeal to everyone. The portion sizes were large and flavorful. The Brewer's Burger was excellent with blue cheese, bacon and jalapenos. And my favorite chicken sandwich that I can remember in a long time. Moist chicken and messy with swiss and dripping honey mustard. We enjoyed the beers, but were disappointed that the huckleberry beer was not available. Maybe next time.
