“ok hotel, close to downtown”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

this hotel is a throwback to the great 60s motor lodges. multiple buildings of 4 rooms each connected via pathways to the main area / reception.

as a residence inn, rooms feature a functional kitchen. the rooms are large and functional.

Wifi and parking are free, as well as breakfast daily. The breakfast buffet was disappointing and only had coffee to go after the first day. Wifi service is below par for a Marriott property.

would return; no problems.

Stayed at the Residence Inn for two nights. We had one reservation and called to extend it, no issues. Room was nice and clean and very comfortable. Room service was good and prompt. The breakfast had many good selections to choose from. Would stay there again. Close to downtown and some good wine tastings.

I was in Boise on business. This hotel was clean, convenient and comfortable. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming. I was able to complete my work responsibilities during the day and then come back and relax and feel almost like I was at home. There was a complimentary breakfast and manager's reception in the evenings. I will stay here again when in Boise.

Booked this through Priceline...what a deal!

This hotel is an outside corridor property with apartment-like suites. In the main lobby is where they offer free continental breakfast (which includes assorted breads, hot oatmeal, cereal, eggs, a meat such as bacon or ham, and 2 other warm items, as well as fresh waffles, yogurt, fruit, OJ and coffee), a laundry area (with a fee to wash clothes) and a 24 hour gym. The apartment suites are huge. I mean, you could have a party in them. I stayed in a king suite which offered a full service kitchen (stalked with plates, soap, a fridge, microwave, oven with pots and pans, silverware, etc…), a couch with flat screen tv, mirrored closet and huge bathroom. The suite was clean and the staff friendly. I even had a small balcony to stand out in as well as a fireplace. I would definitely stay here again. The only things not so nice was the shower head (it worked, but wasn’t amazing), and ladies – if you have a lot of hair, you should bring your own hairdryer as it wasn’t that great. The hotel itself is located a short drive to downtown, across from the University of Boise. I would recommend this property.

I was in town for a business meeting, I wanted to also spend some time with my daughter who is a a BSU student. I have stayed at Residence Inns before and this one was just as I expected. Full kitchen, nice comfortable bed and a great breakfast buffet. I stayed in a upper floor suite since I read on TripAdvisor that they were less noisy, Yes you have to walk out side to get to the lobby but having a nice suite for the price of a room who cares. I will stay here again when in Boise.

Room Tip: Try for a upstairs room.

My daughter and I stayed in the penthouse suite. The loft has a beautiful king size bed with a full bathroom. The main floor has a great kitchen with everything you'll need to cook if you want, including a full size frige and dishwasher. The second bedroom is off of the living room and has a second full bathroom and nice desk. There were three televisions and you can use the fireplace if you want, you just have to buy the wood/block from the front desk, but the heater was great for us. It actually sleeps 6 if you use the couch bed. The complementary breakfast is very good too. Very close to BSU, across from the new Business Building and at the end of Ann Morrision Park.

Nice location near downtown but just enough outside of it. Plenty of room and the property is nice and clean. However, the walls and ceiling are so thin that they don't really keep the noise out. Unfortunately, there was someone in the floor above me that felt the need to walk around at all odd hours of the night. He/she wasn't particularly heavy-footed but you could hear and feel every step they took. This did not make for a good night's sleep. Think I will be going back to my usual spot (Hampton Inn Downtown) in the future.
