One of my favorites! I love the beer selection and love that some of the choices are local, like my fav Dagger Falls from Sockeye. One of the best places I've ever eaten wings at!!! French fries are delicious and crunchy with great horseradish in the fry sauce! Lots of seating inside. A pool table too. Lots of TVs for sports fans. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Lots of outback patio seating for when the weather is nice. Patio smoking ok, a plus! Horse shoes to play and a really cool firepit for the chilly evenings. A great hang out bar, family place.

The Friday special - Halibut or Prime Rib is the draw at The Dutch Goose. Can also be fun to go there to watch football games. But, the downside is that it is LOUD. Fun crowd but difficult to have a conversation with a tablemate. You order at the bar and get your order when you are called (if you can hear your name). The halibut special is great, the prime rib is sometimes great (for the price) at $12.95.

Never eaten lunch there before, and it was surprisingly good bar food...chicken and beef burgers, etc....with fries and fry sauce (a little too much horseradish for me, but just added more ketchup). Two guys were running it and both were friendly and gave excellent service...something lacking in our valley at times. Atmosphere is a bar...a little more open and light than some with more floor seating, but a bar. I think my son said they have outside seating in the other seasons.
We didnn't drink, but they had a number of custom beers plus the cheap tastless ones, too.
Price was very reasonable especially for the volume of food served. The buns were fresh and good...more of a ciabatta style.
If you are just looking for a good sandwich/burger lunch....you might like this one...especially with some good service.

Keeping it cozy and simple. Good food, good people. The big pine was a dance club on the weekends back in the 50-60s. The DG is still keeping it real.
