“Nice stay..friendly staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 2, 2012

I stayed one night with my sister and our little ones. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good and we enjoyed the indoor pool. It was very clean and it's nice to have the option of the sofa bed for more room. The room was not quite as spacious as some of the Springhill Suites I have stayed at...but it wasn't really an issue. Great job to the friendly staff. They all were nice to our bunch who could get a little rowdy at times. (5 and 6 year old cousins staying together). I will most likely stay here again when visiting Boise.

It is so nice to read your review of your families time here at the Springhill. Sounds like fun was had by all and hopefully you and your sister were able to catch up and rest a bit. Thank you for choosing us as your hotel of choice and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Happy Holidays!

Beth

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was large and clean. Some noise issues but didn't have any problems sleeping. Very convenient for dogs lots of room to run around. Walk down Cloverdale about a half mile there is a big park and a great walking trail for walking the dog. Marriott charges $50 fee for dogs (which makes me crazy) but it was still cheaper than other hotels around.

Good to read your stay was up to expectations and we were consistent with your previous stay memories of friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. Also, lovely to read that your dog family member was able to enjoy the stay as well with going to the park and staying with the family. Yes, we do have the pet fee of $50.00 which allows us to make sure that we stay people friendly as well for the guests that do not travel with pets. This fee is used to help us cover costs to make sure all of our rooms are exceeding our guests expectation. We do definitely appreciate our responsible pet owners that travel with their companions.

We look forward to your next stay with us and hope your holiday season is bright!

Kind Regards,

Beth

We thoroughly enjoy this Hotel - always clean and friendly. The one thing - only - is that we really don't like the "open" sink area. It really makes getting up before someone else difficult. There was another issue - which didn't really effect us because we left right after checking in - but there was a power outage that impacted the hotel computers and the Desk Agent couldn't log in to the Key Machine because he didn't have the password. He called two people above him while we waited ("managers") to get the password and neither of them knew it. How is that even possible? Anyway, our keys were ready when we got back.
We'll be back again for sure.

Room Tip: All are very comfortable and quiet.

First, thank you for staying with us as a loyal customer of our Springhill Suites and over the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Secondly, yes we did experience a short power outage. Unfortunately it did cause some confusion with one of our computer systems which controls the key machine. Thank you for your observations and feedback with this situation. We always are learning and adjusting how we resond to every situation that occurs at the hotel as well as updating our best practices. This helps us to better serve our guests and helps our team members to learn and be more confident in handling situations.

We look forward to your next visit at our hotel and it is nice to read that we met your expectations with friendliness and cleanliness.

Kind Regards,
Beth

My family stayed here 2 nights for a swim meet. We got a team price, which was really good. Service was outstanding, breakfast was very good, and the accommodations were nicer than we expected. Do request a room on the quiet side of the building (the busy street + the roof a/c units can be a bit noisy at one end of the building). We were very happy with our stay & would absolutely stay here again!

Well maintained property, nice size very clean rooms, breakfast included and courteous friendly staff. What more can you ask for? They also offer a free airport shuttle with contracted free taxi service available after hours. Recently spent six nights at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The evening manager/desk person (Patrick) was great providing information and courteous service. Would surely stay again if we visit Boise.

It is so nice to read such great comments about the Springhill property! When staying at a hotel for a length of time it is great to get informative information about the area from staff and it sounds like we met those expectations and that our Springhill staff was on top of it! Room was very comfortable, all the amenities we needed and at a very reasonable cost. Several friends booked at same time to attend a celebration; hotel provided shuttle and driver to take to and from the event to avoid parking hassles and getting lost for those not familiar with Boise. The complimentary breakfasts were very tasty and options varied nicely; all staff that we interacted with were friendly and seemed eager to make our stay pleasant. The one minor problem we experienced was the room not being cleaned until late afternoon (after 3:00 pm) on two of the four days we stayed. We will definitely stay in this hotel during future visits to Boise!

The hotel was lovely, room was very comfortable, and the location was great, right on the river. We were able to a long hike, as the it ran for miles. A great loction for resturants, and being we have a grandson there we will use it again.
