Family enjoyed Sunday Brunch in the Sapphire Room. The room is the Riverside Hotel's nightclub, and during brunch, a jazz duo performed live music. The ambiance is throwback chic. Very nice, but being a nightclub, the tables are small and not conducive to a large dining party.
Selections are limited but plenty to fill up on. Made-to-order omelettes lead the way, plus an assortment of about 4 different egg dishes. Fresh fruit, pastries, biscuits and gravy, two types of bacon, sausage, and carved ham and prime rib. The prime rib was rare, tender, and tasty (very good quality.)
Another nice touch is that drinks are included, coffee, milk, and unlimited Mimosas!
For the price, it is an excellent outing. Adults are $16.99, but better yet, seniors 60 and older are only $12.99, and children under 5 are free.
