Had lunch here again. There is a very good menu, with lots of choices for eating a lot or not much. They have a huge beer menu and the staff is very helpful in making recommendations. Sometimes it is difficult to get a table especially for a large group, as it is a popular place.

We ate there once before about a year ago and we had really good burgers. This time I had a Philly steak sandwich and it was pretty good. My husband had the Rueben and there was only two thin slices of meat on it. He was very disappointed in it. The portions are rather small (my husband ate his whole lunch and part of mine). All in all it was disappointing and over-priced.

we have been the biggest fans of the RFL for YEARS, and constantly advise people to eat there. sorry to say, hubby won't go again. we have had 2 really cold meals...we said that the street tacos were cold, and JON, who is delightful, said ,"yes they are.." OK< what now. we asked them to just be put in the oven, cabbage and all..and the new appetizer of pork, short ribs was tasty. BUT, totally cold and oh, so dry...3 very dry, cold pork on the bone, pieces on the plate. CHEWY..but , the original dish, was meant, to be very moist, to bring out the excellent flavors, i am sure.
I have had emails with the manager, and wonder what is going on with our favorite place. since jane, and mark left...this place has gone WAY down hill, and for that, i am sorry.
Molly and Jon are delightful, tho...
we came over for our romantic night away from home, and we didn't eat...now what to do??

This is a Boise must-visit. They have an amazing number of brews on tap. Great atmosphere. The food was good but definitely bar food -- mostly burgers and sandwiches. I recommend hitting this place first for a drink and then heading off to a nearby restaurant, of which there are many in this part of town. This place gets very busy, especially on weekend nights, so finding a table can involve some waiting and moving quickly when one opens up.

We were show to an upstairs booth, when we requested a booth, passing several empty booths on the main level. Stairs were dark and a bit difficult to navigate for seniors! Food was fine, atmosphere depressing on an otherwise sunny fall day.
