“Nice rooms”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2013

The rooms were nice and clean. The location was fairly isolated but that was a good thing. You are right under the flight path for the Boise airport but the noise wasn't noticable in the room. Bed was comfortable. There was a strip mall with a grocery store a short walk away. The major complaint I had with the breakfast. The eggs and sausage were barely room temperature and not to health standards. I would not eat at this hotel again but would stay for the rooms.

Highly recommend staying here! We will Stay there again next time we go to Boise to visit our son. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean. Didn't use the pool. The breakfast was very good and it was nice that on the day we left, we were glad to know that it opened at 5:30 since we had to get on the toad for the long drive home.

We enjoyed the amenities and the friendly staff. We were greeted with friendly staff and thoroughly enjoyed the Happy Hour after a long day on our Harley. We were traveling with friends and the experience was great for all of us.

We drove 16 hours to Boise, ID. We arrived earlier than what we expected, but front desk person was very nice and arranged a room for us. We were able to rest and had a wonderful time in Boise, ID. Breakfast was very good.

The very appealing Western décor when you first enter is enjoyable to look at -- (arriving 8/29/13). The front desk staff were very friendly and down-to-earth in their mannerisms. We spent three nights here -- two nights on way to Oregon and 3rd night on way home. The first two nights were fine -- 1st floor room had nice clean Western décor - very friendly and interesting. Had nice soaps and creams & shampoo's Beds were comfy. Lots of pillows which wife liked...... The special treats of 1st free glass of wine during Happy Hour (4 - 7pm I believe) and the cookies and milk at 8pm was quite appreciated and fun. Breakfast was decent with scrambled eggs and sausage & other basics.
Problem on return trip was that our 'non smoking' room on 1st floor did smell of strong stale smoke....so we were moved to 3rd floor "family suite" (not sure if do to last room available or as a "we're sorry" make-up). Overall pleasant, but not quite an "excellent" in our minds.

Stayed here while traveling to Oregon. Hotel is on south side of Boise. "Northwest" in name refers to decor of hotel, not location. Pet friendly. Happy hour in lobby each evening with beer and wine. Cookies and milk for a bedtime snack. Ample breakfast fare. Friendly desk staff. Would definitely stay there again.
