Each time I'm lucky enough to get to Boise, I jog along the greenbelt. It's always peaceful and picturesque.

We love walking the greenbelt as it holds a special place for us, my husband asked me to marry him along the greenbelt on a park bench after enjoying a fancy dinner.

Peaceful area to walk or read a book. Right in the middle of town. Places for kids to play and explore. Benches to sit around for lunch. Biking and roller blading accessible. This pathway leads through most of central Boise. Can get to seveal areas of town from here, (east / west direction).

You can ride for days and not cover all of the bike trails in Boise. The trail goes all the way from Lucky Peak Reservoir to Eagle (except for a small portion controlled by some snobs in Garden City). The bike path is well maintained, patrolled by volunteers and police. It is safe, clean...wonderful way to see the city. There are restaurants and pubs along the way.... can't beat it.
