“Haven't had a bad meal yet!”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

Tell Cathy C I'll take her unused Groupons because Summit is one of our favorite places. If you're a beer drinker, there's never a shortage of new and interesting brews to try. The burger menu has something for everyone and the monthly specialty menus always offer new and fun things to try as well. The Thursday grilled cheese menu has some great sandwiches to dip in your tomato soup, and the chowder and chili are terrific too. The Pittsburgh Garbage Salad is SO yummy, and the Sweet Potato Poutine is a real winner! Every time we think we've tried the best thing on the menu, we find something else that is completely different and that we like equally. I haven't had the same thing twice in more than six months of eating at Summits and I've never been disappointed. Service is awesome, servers are friendly and very helpful. We LOVE Summits in Woodstock!

“The beer is good”
Reviewed September 2, 2012

Wish the food was better - they like spicy at this tavern. Maybe they think we'll order more brew? Well, I don't drink if I don't eat, so if I don't enjoy the food, well . . . They even put spice in the cole slaw, which is not my idea of slaw. I had a Groupon, but I wouldn't go back.

“Beer!”
Reviewed August 30, 2012 via mobile

Over 200 beers on tap and always something new to try. Good service. My favorite food here are the wings which are always very good. The owner has quite a sense of humor and is a riot, but most of all his knowledge of beer is exceptional. The beer tastings and beer dinners are always a treat.

“New menu items are great!”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

Wahoo burger was fantastic!!! Lots of new menu items, putting it heads above other bar food. Interesting combo of textures and flavors. Bar staff is great (Sarah and Roger!). Manager is a bit surly, but whatever... Plenty of beers to choose from. If you haven't been there in a while, check it out!

“Nice place but bad management”
Reviewed July 13, 2012

Summits in Woodstock shows their hours as open until 2am and is one of the few places in Woodstock you can go late night to grab a bite. We stopped in last night at 11:40 and was immediately advised by the manager/owner Andy that we had to order right away as "Bon Jovi" was coming in and he had to close the restaurant early. This of course was a complete lie as apparently he had decided to close early so instead of telling us the truth he fabricated some outlandish story. Andy rushed us through our drinks and sandwiches and was taking ourt plates and glasses even before we were finished. This is unfortunate as we have been to Summits many time before and have enjoyed the food but after this experience...never again.
