To get there, go to the bus terminal near Firenze SMN, buy a return to the mall for €10. Takes about 1hr. On the way back, if its around the time when most shoppers are leaving. Expect to wait for the bus in a long line...then having everyone just rushing onto the bus when it arrives, disregarding the line. So try leave earlier before the crowd.

Wasted half my day. Most of the stores stock was very boring and unappealing, not only that but the price was not even good. The only boutique with good pricing was balenciaga RTW. I picked up a knit for $€60. And also a pair of classic tods loafers for €190, other than that...my expectation was not met.

“Not as good as what we expected”
Reviewed November 1, 2012

Our first ever visit and although we purchased some items we left disappointed with the value and items available. As other reviewers mentioned we suspect we could have purchased at the airport or local stores in sales for same price. Previous month we also tried the Bicester Village in Oxford UK and that proved to be much better value for money. I suspect the Mall has become a victim of its own success and we will not be returning in a hurry.

“FORGET IT, HONESTLY!! Demand Has Driven Up Price, Destroyed Choice and Diminished Good Deals!”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

I first went to The Mall in 2006 and it was a real gem of a retail destination, a great place to shop and find a genuine bargain. It has grown by about four or five additional stores since then.

I've been back almost every year since 2006, sometimes twice a year, and I can honestly say that with it's growing popularity, the bargains and choice have all but dried up! You will want to buy something, anything, to make your trip worthwhile but will leave with item/s you kinda wanted, paying an amount you kinda didn't want to.

Deciding to give it one last go today (hoping that The Mall might, in my wildest dreams, redeem itself) I was just as disappointed as I've been on the last 3 occasions. Things are not going to improve and I'm throwing in the towel.

There are queues outside some stores and when you do get in to any of them, what's left is not just last season, it looks like 2006 stock!
The prices are no longer "outlet" prices, they're the same and sometimes more than the Selfridges, Net-a-Porter or Matches sales. Go online and do your research first, if you feel you must visit The Mall.

You'll find many wealthy groups of people - arriving by the coach load - purchasing almost everything and anything. Their spending power and the volumes they purchase means that certain 'popular' stores can charge over what's a palatable outlet price and put any old tat on the shelves.

I apologise if this is a disappointing review for those avid designer shoppers out there, but I had to be honest and pass on the facts from my perspective, possibly saving you a wasted day.

“Good selection if you move fast!”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

You must move fast through this mall as inventory goes fast. It's best to be there when it first opens at 10am. This is when it is still organized and most likely, you can find smaller sizes. Also since I didn't go during sale season, prices were around 50% off retail. It's not a super bargain like some people may expect. Prada, gucci, ect shoes were still 250+ and purses were 300+. Don't go to this outlet expecting to find 50 euros Prada shoes or you'll leave disappointed!

“Disappointing - Not As Good As Claimed”
Reviewed September 26, 2012 via mobile

Variety of few brands but the contents are disappointing. Visit if there is extra times. If you arrives by train, go to the nearest bar to get the number to call a taxi. It is €10 for 3 persons for 10-15 min drive. Coming back, go to the bar at outlet to buy the €5 SITA bus ticket.
