Very disappointing. Not sure what cabins the excellent reviews came from, but we stayed in the larger cabin called El Capitan. For over $300 per night, we expected a decent cabin stay. The website pictures are very deceiving. Furniture is nothing more than yard sale furniture. If you sit on the end of the leather sofa, you will slide to the middle. Another antique looking love seat is ratty, torn with the cotton showing and dirty looking. Beds were hard and so not comfortable. Upstairs bath is tub only with no shower, so we had to go downstairs to shower. Carpet in bedrooms stained and need cleaning. Living area very small and very difficult for 7 or 8 people to be comfortable and maneuver around the living and kitchen area. They could spend a little money to make this comfortable and guarantee return guests. My family WILL NOT return to this location.

Dear Cj3232, thank you so very much for staying with us recently. We are so very sorry to hear your experience in the cabin was unsatisfactory regarding the furniture and carpeting. The cabin you mentioned does not have much carpeting (only in the master bedroom and 2 bedrooms downstairs) and instead has mostly hardwood floors or tile throughout the rest of the cabin but we will absolutely make sure those stains are addressed immediately. We will certainly be passing this information along to the homeowner so they can make the appropriate updates in the cabin. Cabin 16A does have 3 bathrooms, one of which does have a tub only as stated on our website. I apologize about any confusion. We certainly wish we could have made your stay more enjoyable and memorable and if you folks do decide to return, we will absolutely make every effort to make your stay fantastic.

The cabin was perfect! The views...breath taking! Friendly, helpful service. Clean! Conveniently located. Checked in late but found lights on and tv playing quietly...very inviting. Will definitely stay here again!!!

Dear JanieB0411, we are so very happy to hear you enjoyed your stay in one of our log cabins. Most people don't get to enjoy views like this at work so we certainly feel priveleged. Thank you so very much for staying with us. We're looking forward to seeing you folks again soon!

Stayed in cabin 1A which was absolutely wonderful! A lot of these cabins are privately owned so each one is unique; with the owners decorations and supplies for the kitchen. This cabin was fully equipped with towels, soap, dishes, and just about anything you need. A very romantic and enjoyable time, it even has satellite TV and a DVD player for entertainment when the sun goes down. Plus this is located in a perfect location to see FDRs' Little White House, Callaway gardens, and the town of Pine Mountain. One of our better and more laid back vacations!

Room Tip: Cabin 1A is great!

We rented a cabin here and were very pleased with pretty much everything about our stay. You do not get everything you are used to if you book a hotel, such as every day linen service, maid service, etc, but you are staying in a cabin in the woods, so we were very much ok with trading these items in for a view and piece and quiet. We stayed in "El Capitan" 16A and were very please with the amount of space and LOVED the screened in porch. Only one downfall of the whole stay was the basement bathroom was a bit dirty for some of our liking. Overall it is a very nice place with a wonderful backfall of hills and trees. Would stay again anytime.

What a wonderful location for a wedding. My niece chose this location and the entire family with friends came and stayed. I think we booked 9 cabins, maybe more, and had so much fun. The pool area was the perfect rehersal area and the chapel and lodge were absolutely the perfect spots for this union. Thanks to all the kind assistance from the staff and Jo the wedding planner.
Thank you; we are thinking this could be a great location for a yearly family reunion.

Room Tip: all cabins were quiet and peaceful, cabin 4 is not as bright inside, but very nice. be sure to bring plenty of personal use items, soap, shampoo, dish detergent, etc. not all cabins have washers and dryers
