“southern buffet”
Reviewed January 28, 2010

After looking at the buffet & the menu (which was extremely limited), my husband & I decided to get the buffet.
There are only a few selections offered, but what we did get was very good.

The fried chicken was as good as expected. The Bulloch potatoes were a hit with both of us. A few veggies were also offered as well as 2 different types of breads.

Unfortunately, there wasn't any dessert included in the buffet.

The food was very southern (buttery for sure!) and filling. Our early lunch tied us over until our late dinner (and that was just one plate's worth).

“ABSOLUTLEY WONDERFUL! BACK IN TIME RELAXING MEAL!”
Reviewed January 19, 2010

I am a transplant from Georgia to Dothan, Al and we certainly miss going to this awesome restaurant as often as we use to. We, however,do go as often as we can, and we never go home unless we go and visit our friends at the Bullock House!! The food is delicious especially the chicken and dressing, black eyed peas and those wonderful fried green tomatoes. The caramel cake is to die for along with the chocolate, tea cakes, divinity, chocolate pecan pie and anything else they have. This is making me hungry just writting the review. We are looking forward to going again soon! Enjoy!!!

“As good as it gets!!!”
Reviewed December 18, 2009

If you are looking for great Southern cooking, then you really must stop in here. The day we went they had fried chicken, turkeyc& dressing, and fried chicken livers. The vegetables were squash casserole, fried green tomatos, fried green apples, steamed apples, baby lima beans, green beans, rice & gravy. They had cornbread and rolls to choose from and then many salads. Also there was cranberry sauce to go with the turkey & dressing. I may have missed some of the vegetables, but everything I had was either very good or great. The chicken livers were perfect and the fried green apples and fried green tomatos were the best I have ever eaten. We were absolutely too full to try any of the home made desserts, but they did look to be very good too.
I will make this a regular stop anytime I am in the area.

“Great food!”

Luncheon Buffet is limited, but don't let that influence your decision to stop here and eat. Food is exceptionally good and service is excellent. Looking forward to going back. Fried Green Tomatoes some of the best I have ever eaten.

“Good buffet - great fried chicken, fried green tomatoes and corn bread”
Reviewed October 8, 2009

The Bulloch House is worth visiting when visiting Warm Springs or staying at Callaway Gardens. Great fried chicken, fried green tomatoes and fried green apples. Light delicious corn bread. Buffet items change daily but fried chicken, corn bread and salad bar items seem to be staples. We went 2 days while staying at Callaway Gardens. $9 a person for lunch. All you can eat. Great iced tea both unsweet and sweet. Service staff and waitresses very friendly and provide excellent service. Atmosphere is comfortable, victorian house with 4 dining rooms and outside enclosed porch dining.
