This stop on the Disney cruise was a great stop so much to do and a beautiful island all over water is beautiful. Had fun doing paddle tri bike snorkeling with the family and enjoying the beautiful water. My daughter enjoyed all attractions along with the island in the ocean for the kids. Great food and the employees on the island are awesome great spot to relax and hand out perfect fit for Disney.

Castaway Cay is one of the sought after reasons for boarding a Disney Cruise, a private island. There was a little bit of crowdedness in the family area but this is expected. Other than that it was easy to walk around. Beach and areas are very well maintained, in typical Disney fashion. Food was BBQ style buffett, but honestly really good. No over the top crazy food, just hamburgers, hotdogs, salads and the likes. (Although they did have German potato salad which was cold and covered in Mayo, which is NOT German potato salad, but no big deal) Weather was quite windy when we went so they eventually closed the beach, as well as snorkeling, but honestly it made sence since the current was stirring up things. Renting a bike is the big thing to do here, especially to ride your bike down an old landing strip for the island. Great views of ocean and natural breakers. Loved it.

We went on the Disney Fantasy 7 days carribean cruise for our first cruise ever last week of febuary ( 21 feb to 1 mars 2014). Service as always with Disney was extraordinary !!! VERY NICE ship ( almost brand new and look as it just come out ) VERY VERY CLEAN ....EVERYWHERE !!!! We ad a cabin with the veranda (( 8056) midship and side of the boat that every island you see, you are on the good side to see them arrive and not just sea side all the time ). and it was so nice to have it and sit down during sunrise and sunset !!! cabin get ready very promptly thanks to Maurice every night and morning !!

Restaurants onboard very nice and if you have young kids get the 3 choice ( Animator Palate 3 times) my kids love this restaurant even i , its so magical whit all the screen and surprise.....the Enchanted Garden, very good too and charming and good to go for breakfast with the buffet. And last but not least the Royal Court like if you are in princess castle very goog dishes and beautiful decoration. The Cabana's is very good for dinner with a very big choise of dishes. The Frozone on deck 11 with free ice cream all week long very funny. Service with your waiter excellent ( thanks to Iryna and Paulo) and they follow you all week long ...was impeccable even whit our dauther with her peanut allergie VERY NICE and unstressful !!! that's a great thing !!! Because they know you and what you like and don't.

Swimming pool nice and the AquaDuck...WOW !!! very funny and not very long to wait, worth the wait for sure !!! There's a pirate night so bring from home your costume because almost everybody is disguise, even all the waiters in all restaurants that night very cool and it end with the fireworks on deck 11 and a dance party very cool !!!!! There's plenty activities for young on ship, you have to do the detective one with your magical card, you will visit all the ship, very funny to do !!

We did 3 island' St-Marteen's, at Waikiki beach, big wave big fun, St-Thomas at Meagan's bay just amazing beach so beautiful !!! keep it in our dream for sure !!!! and last Castaway Cay but we didnt stay on beach for long because of the heavy rain and cold but look very nice for kids.

There's professionnal photografer on ship taking pictures all weeks long, at restaurants, when you are with the caracters and at the end of the week you can buy the cd for 349.99$ ( bit expensive !!) and for 50$ more you have all the printed pictures, we took it and we are satisfied of the quality of it.

It was an AMAZING week , we will never forget it, was trully magical in every way !!! The Fantasy is amazing ,i don't know for the other Disney ships but this one..every people that i know wo went on this one still cannot believe how amazing he his... So.........

Imagine walking into Disneyland and noticing all the small things (colorful signs and buildings, clean streets, the fun Disney experience. Now imagine walking off a cruise ship and experiencing this on an island. That's Castaway Cay. I was pretty skeptical because I have been on Royal Carribean's private island and wasn't really impressed. In fact our second trip to the private island, we stayed on board. Not the case with CC. Cruise ship workers provide you fresh towels as you enter the island. The streets and roads were super clean and great signage. The food places reminded you of disneyland (in a good way) Well organized and clean. The beach and activities made you feel like you were at a normal beach and it wasn't all Disney'ed out. One highlight is the private kids club on the beach where your kids can hang out the entire time. Really amazing and well organized. There's never enough time on CC to get everything in, but just a great extension of Disney Cruiseline's amazing service and the Disney experience.

We have done three Disney cruises and Castaway Cay is always one of the highlights. The adult beach is always very peaceful, they have a bar right there, and the BBQ lunch is served right next to the bar. The lunch consisted of steak, ribs, burgers, hot dogs, salads, cookies, fruit, and ice cream, among other items.

We have done the snorkeling area they provide though we didn't see many fish. They did place underwater items for you to look at and the snorkeling area was large enough that we weren't running into others in the water.

The second time we were there, we participated in the 5K they host. It is a very flat, nice run but can get a little hot during the period the course travels the runway.
