“My Favorite Travel Tradition, A Must Stop.”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

I love this place ever since we started stopping at it coming back from Daytona years ago. There is such a wide variety of pecans and other nuts that I usually leave with several bags and a couple of bottles of cider. I don't think there is anything in the place that I would not like to take home or sample and if you leave without taking a cone of home made ice cream with you, then you have certainly missed out. Everything is fresh, a very good price, and a variety that will have you wandering the aisles making the hard decision of what you want to leave behind. Great place.

“DO NOT PASS IT BY. IT'S A MUST DO!!!”
Reviewed February 23, 2014 via mobile

We always make sure we stop there when driving on I-75.We never leave empty handed. We always buy something, even if it's just one or two small packages. My favorites is cinnamon pecans & white chocolate covered pecans. You will get a chance to sample some of the items.Huge selection of pecans and other things. You can buy for yourself, but it also makes a perfect gift. There is a cotton field right across from the store.Exit 109,about 5 minutes drive after you exit.Make sure you stop there. It is one of life's simple pleasures you can't miss.

Reviewed January 9, 2014

We stopped here recently on our way to Florida .
We sure were glad we did had such a big variety of different things that had PECANS in them :) All very fresh and great prices of course we bought quite a bit to ship back up north to family . They do offer shipping right at store . Was a fun stop we enjoyed it and all the free samples . Of course we would stop here again and again :) if you like nuts is a must stop on your way !

“even fruit cake haters should stop here”
Reviewed December 6, 2013

First time here..place we usually stopped at top of hill was out of business. What good luck that turned out to be! Best fruit cake I have ever tasted and I love fruitcake. Pecans in so many flavors from chocolate to key lime..Deliscious ice cream.Only problem is brittle we bought was chewy by the time we got home, container could be improved to withstand humidity.

“New crop pecans and many samples”
Reviewed November 14, 2013

We were driving from Warner Robins to Waycross and saw the billboards for Ellis Brothers. We stopped out of curiosity and are pleased we did. The new crop pecans were in, so we got freshly harvested pecans from a family grower. The shop is packed with different pecans and pecan products and peanuts with samples of pretty much everything in the store. They had pralines, chow chow, pecan log rolls, divinity, seasonings and you name it - including hard to find stone ground grits. We also stopped at Adcocks (the other grower with billboards) but found we had made our purchases at the right place. Their pecans were not marked as to harvest date or type of nut, they had no samples of anything and according to the math genius (the hubbie) when you figured out the difference in package sizes, were about 15 per cent higher than here. We stocked up since we can vacuum seal and freeze them.
Those free samples did their job - these were definitely fresher than anything you can buy in grocery stores. Go and buy.
