Ingredients tasted very fresh. The menu is pricey but has much variety and since its not a food chain, the price is worth it for the taste. The furniture could use some touching up and decor could be updated to add to the look of the dining area. Its a small romantic ambiance, and I like that, Every one should try it once.

Walking into the ramshackle building that houses Giulio's, you could be forgiven for thinking that you've entered an older relative's living room. The décor, although comfortable enough, is dated to the point that it feels dusty, and while there are plentiful Mediterranean motifs, the abundance of lace seems to owe more to the southern states than to southern Europe. The service is friendly and the food is tasty, but the menu also reflects a dated view of Italy and Greece. Don't expect modern cuisine, but the homely staples of moussaka and lasagne, which came in substantial cake-like portions, make for decent comfort food. We were told that there is often live music, but there was none during our weekend visit.

I'm surprised at the reviews of this restaurant. The place is very dated , not sure how someone could call it romantic. The food is average at best, I would not know the difference if I was eating frozen/heated food from a chain restaurant. The tables were uncomfortable, the service was at best average (it seemed like they were trying to be über fancy). I try to support local/ non-chain restaurants but I can't say I have any reason to return to this place. Disappointed sums it up.

The atmosphere at Giulio's instantly makes you feel welcome. We have on many occasions been fortunate enough to eat there when Nephtali Santiago was serenading guests on his classical guitar. It's like getting a personal concert while enjoying a wonderful meal. We recommend the dalmadoes and virtually anything on the menu is excellent. We try to order something different each time. The Greek salad is awesome as is the bread they serve with real butter. The prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to go back again!
