Found this place by accident-Staff super friendly-accepts pets-clean/spotless room and very quiet. I can't wait to see what is for breakfast. Hallways clean/elevators/very busy but was not loud. Was able to walk my dog around the grounds. Some places accept pets but have no place to walk the dogs. No extra charge for pets.

Room Tip: Always ask to see your room first.

The Drury Inn scored a positive on many levels for me. It was priced along the same lines as equivalent hotels in the area, the decor was beautiful, the kickback that was offered in the bar area in the afternoon was great and the very first I've experienced, and the view from the room was fantastic. I personally did not like the layout of the room, having the bedroom separate from the bathroom and sitting room. For some large families or mixed company, this would have been ideal for privacy reasons. The staff was very friendly, despite being relatively new (as the hotel opened just a month or so before). The staff at the bar area, however, were not very friendly or helpful. If you enjoy a friendly staff (for the most part) and a lovely, clean hotel with amenities, the Drury Inn in Valdosta is the place to stay!

Drury always offers a great stay. From the nicely appointed rooms to the hot breakfast, and the evening appetizers, and drinks. We have saved a lot by staying at Drury. No pet charge for our Golden Retriever, and a decent breakfast anywhere would cost upwards of $10.00 to $20.00 for 2 people. The evening appetizers and drinks is enough to sustain us after a good lunch. I can't say enough about this chain. They are the BEST!

My husband and I along with our Labradoodle were on our way to North Carolina from Florida to spend Thanksgiving with Family and Friends...weather was going to be bad, so we decided to leave right after my husband got off of work on Tuesday and drive 4 hours to Valdosta. We've stayed at a few Drury Inn's because they ARE Pet Friendly, and always very nice...this time was just like all the others.

Check in was smooth, we walked through the lobby to our room. We were late for the Evening Happy Hour, so we ordered dinner form Olive Garden just steps from the front door. Hubby ran over and got it while I stayed in the room with our dog. We enjoyed the in-room fridge and microwave - and LOVE that they have the in-shower shampoo and body wash dispenser!! (Every time we stay I tell my husband "We've gotta get one of these!)

Everything was perfect except...we didn't have to be up and moving at sunrise, but other guests did...why can't people talk low when walking down a hallway where other people are sleeping?? Ruuuuuude! How about "use your inside voice" Moms and Dads?? The only noise we heard were parents yelling at their children at 6am....Seriously? If my Dog barked and woke up your kids, you'd have a fit and complain..but since your kids needed yelling at early in the morning, that's perfectly acceptable.

Besides that, our stay was great and we'll stay there again when we travel north this summer.

Breakfast was...breakfast. Waffles, Cereal, Scrambled Eggs, Sausage, Biscuits...lot's more than we'd get if we were at home....yet since people are pigs, and believe that "someone else will clean up after them" the staff couldn't walk around fast enough to wipe up spills, throw away people's straws or dirty plates they were too lazy to pick up. I have no complaints with the hotel or what they provide, it's people that have no manners that ruin things...

Room Tip: We were assigned to a room on the 2nd Floor because we had a pet. Our room was near the front entra...

FIRST TIME AT THIS DRURY INNS NO DISAPPOINTMENTS

Got in late missed Kickback but the room was good and clean and breakfast got us going on our way to Florida. This was our first time at the Valdosta location and I dont know that it has been open all that long. It was a bit of a drive from the Drury Inn in Middletown Ohio but Drury to Drury works best for our family...

One of the nicest hotels I have been in for years. The grounds are immaculate, the lobby is spacious and beautiful, the rooms are huge, clean and very well decorated. The afternoon happy hour and the breakfast are among the nicest I have ever encountered. The bed was a king and very comfortable, the shower is huge and has a seat that encourages you to spend an hour. The exit has many restaurants and shopping, forget stopping here on the road for the night and consider making it a destination stop, we have. And its Pet friendly!

We have stayed at other Drury Inns, but this was the nicest one so far. It was clean and well kept. The staff was very nice also. We had a good dinner and a really good breakfast. We will stay here again for sure.

Room Tip: Make sure you check the coupon books and ask for deals.
