Visited with a group of Girl Scouts who went on a beach walk to identify small sea creatures, then went inside the exhibit. Rachel, our guide, was very knowledgeable, and obviously loved her job. Her dedication to the well-being of the sea life and the ecological importance of keeping the beach clean and respecting nature was palpable. Very nice outing.

The program that they had for the Girl Scouts was great. The girls had a hike along the beach with some sand sifting. They learned about the ecology of the Georgia Coast.

Lots of love, attention, and pride are put into this center. It is a small building, but it's not the building they're trying to show you. If you are looking for an Atlanta Aquarium experience... go to Atlanta, it's not for you. If you are looking for informative information about the beautiful beaches surrounding you mixed with smiles and hands on experience, then you found it. This is not an attraction that you have to spend your entire day doing. Take some time to learn about the animals and creatures that live here on Tybee and then go experience it for yourself! Beach and marsh treks are cool too! There is entirely too much natural beauty here on Tybee for them to put it all in tanks for our viewing, so they just left it all in the open for us to view on our own after we gain a little knowledge about what it all is and how to enjoy it! How thoughtful! :)

There really wasn't much to see. I was hoping to see more turtles. It was ok for the price of admission which wasn't much.
