“Nice Little Aquarium”
Reviewed April 13, 2012

It is a small aquarium, but there are a lot of little creatures to see and learn about. There is even a touch tank full of little crabs to keep the little ones busy. There are also marsh walks and other programs to take part in if you are so inclined. A good way to spend a rainy afternoon.

“Worth stopping in to see.”
Reviewed April 5, 2012

While staying on Tybee my wife and I stopped in to the Marine Science Center. Although small it still had interesting exhibits on display. This would be a great place to take the kids, both young and old.

“Neat little diversion”
Reviewed March 27, 2012

This was a pretty cool little place. It's not nearly as impressive as the name suggest it is though. It's a smaller building with a gift shop and a few rooms of some smaller samples of sea life. It only takes a few minutes to get through and make sure you aren't going the same day as a school field trip because it gets cramped fast.

“Definitely”
Reviewed March 7, 2012

I found the marine science museum extremely interesting. It is a good place to take children and it is cheap. The only bad thing is that it is really small but definitely worth the price.

“perfect to take your little ones..”
Reviewed February 6, 2012

my 2 year old niece LOVED going in here.. there's was a hands on station that she was so tickled with.. and her getting to see baby turtles was just the total end.. i practically had to drag her out.. :) their gift shop isn't that bad either.. got a 12 inch 'stuffed animal' shark for $8, which was a great investment since she sleeps with it every night, when i payed $14 for a dolphin half that size at sea world.. would definitely go again if niece asked to go :)
