Both dining rooms and our outdoor dining deck offer picturesque views of Chimney Creek. Both the young and young-at-heart will enjoy our interactive, educational "Gator Lagoon" which is home to 78 baby alligators; our aviary which is home to more than a dozen rescued exotic birds, and our "Gift Shack". The Crab Shack offers traditional Low Country fare, including fresh streamed and boiled seafood and slow-cooked BBQ. We also have a kid's menu available with burgers, hot dogs, and pizza. The Crab Shack is and always has been a family owned business, and recently began shipping our entrees in ready-to-be-cooked kits through LoCo To Go. Stop by and experience all we have to offer for yourself!

“Wish we would of missed this one”

This came highly recommened on our trip to Savannah and all four of us were disappointed. The food and drinks were nothing to write home about and I have had better crab soup out of a can. Out of eight days eating out in Savannah and Charleston this was our only dissappointment .

“Best on the Island!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 11, 2010

If you are headed to Tybee, you must stop here! If you are in Savannah, its worth the trip. Follow the signs and meander on over...don't let the alligators scare you on the way in! The marsh-side ambiance couldn't be better and you can even have your drink served in a coconut! I recommend the King crab. Its delicious! The Crab Shack is great for family dining; very casual. You have a trash can right at your seat, so crack em up and eat em up!

“Disappoinment of the day 5/10”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 11, 2010

Enough sodium for a week in the platter. No clams in chowder (only broth) - potato soup. Brunswick stew was the only decent item in our two meals. Would rather have a minimal amount of real melted butter than large container of salty margarine. Key lime pie was good.

“worth the wait”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 11, 2010

An hour wait nearly drove us away, but well worth it in the end, two kids 3 and 7 devoured my Crab Shack platter and we wished we had bought more than one. It seemed the best value, excellent sea food, great atmosphere we only wished we had been closer to go for a second treat. So good we even bought the T shirt 

Only bad point was the restrooms.

“Get your crab boil on.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2010

Crab shack is part restaurant, part tourist attraction and everything yummy. From the gators welcoming you in to the piles of crab boil, this place is a Tybee must. Relax and take in some local Tybee hospitality.
