We love this place. It started with a tour company bringing back crabs and cooking them for the people going on the tours. It is now an institution and quite a following. It is casual. If you are worried about it being hot...don't be. Yes, it is open air, but there are plenty of shade trees and they have quite an elaborate system of fans to cool you off (this helps with keeping flies from attacking your food as well). Again, this is not fancy....but it is fresh seafood and is good. We normally get the mixed seafood boil for two; it has a couple of types of crab, crawfish, shrimp, potatoes, corn, mussels, etc. They have lots of their own sauce creations to choose from on the tables. It is a fun place to take kids; they can feed alligators and they have quite an exotic bird collection too. Fun place!
