My wife and I went to the Inn for our 5th anniversary and have never been so relaxed. Kathy and Lloyd were very friendly and the french toast was excellent. We will definitely be back next year.

It was the perfect getaway from the normal daily life of middle Georgia. Only a couple of hours away and worth every mile to get there. Upon arrival, we were greated with smiles and fantasic hospitality. The beach was just a few minutes away by foot (you have to go there). The restaurants we visited were very nice (prices were not too bad either). And best of all, breakfast was served at 9AM not some really early time to were you feel you have to set an alarm to get breakfast. The coffee was normally on at 7:30AM and had a large assortment of creamers and sugar and substitutes (pink/blue/yellow packets) along with an endless assortment of teas for anyones pallet. Also, I really liked that they had a PC setup for guests to use and had free WIFI everywhere in the B&B. IMPORTANT thing to know before going to Tybee Island: Bring QUARTERS for the parking meters (they take credit cards too, but not bills).

Sally and I had the perfect experience at Tybee Island Inn. It was our honeymoon, and we felt so at home and Lloyd and Cathy were the best hosts. The breakfasts were absolutely out of this world. Our room, the Lighthouse, was warm and welcoming. Our stay at the inn was a perfect beginning to our new life together and we will definitely return there for a second honeymoon. Every guest while we were there had a wonderful experience at the inn.

I never have needed such a vacation that I received at Tybee Island Inn. The room we stayed in was perfect. The Lighthouse room balcony stuck right out in a beautiful tree, with moss hanging everywhere. Just what you would want for your first cup of coffee. I loved it. The decor at the Inn was very interesting. Loved looking around at every room. Each one having it's own personality. The food was wonderful and the cook was very personable. The Inn keepers were very helpful, personable and informative about the local eateries and entertainment.
The Inn was within walking distance of the ocean. It was so exciting to start the walk down to the beach. The Inn had an outdoor shower and chairs to drag down to the beach.
Take the trip to Tybee Island Inn, you will not be sorry. A true jewel with great island atmosphere!!!!

We booked the Lighthouse Room at Tybee Island Inn and it was awesome!! Huge king-size bed, clean room, quaint country feel. It's also a great deal; for a B&B we paid the same price as some of the local hotels were offering. Let's see, the Inn first... I was a little nervous about staying at a Bed and Breakfast, thinking that we wouldn't have much privacy, but we decided to give it a try, and I'm glad we did! The owners Lloyd and Cathy treat you like family. Everyone who works there does! There's always sweet treats in the afternoon, coffee whenever you want it, privacy and awesome scenery. They made my breakfasts without meat when I told them I was a vegetarian, and they did it with a smile. Lloyd gave us all suggestions on places to eat and sights to see and we weren't disappointed with any of his recommendations. It has all the comforts of home. Dishes, silverware and wine glasses you can use. We didn't want for anything while we were there. We had plenty of privacy, awesome hot breakfasts, and we could eat it wherever we wanted to eat. We ended up talking to other guests and ended up learning a lot and sharing tips and experiences. But if you aren't social, you really don't have to talk to anyone. I ended up having a lot of fun!! The only downside for me wasn't really the Inn's fault, but there were a lot of bugs outside. It was a five minute walk to the beach, which we had almost completely to ourselves. Very romantic, very relaxing, and we will definitely be back! Also, we talking to a lot of locals while we were on Tybee and when we told them where we were staying, they all thought very highly of Tybee Island Inn and Lloyd and Cathy. That says a lot. This place really is the best!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was alway great. Really close to the beach and the Tybee Island Light house is something you should visit while on the island.

Traveling 1100 miles from Dallas, Texas to this charmng island was well worth the journey. What made this long and arduous journey complete, was the moment we stepped onto the Tybee Island Inn property. Your first steps greet you with a beautiful and enchanting garden with the most incredible Oak Trees winding their way thru the property. We were escorted inside where the ambienece of this Inn immediately grabs a hold of you. The owners, Cathy and Lloyd along with their assistant Lisa had an abundance of graciousness and experience. The homecooked meals which are served in their dining room is a great way to get to know the other guests. Our stay was so perfect we had to extend it an extra day. Service was excellent with a relaxed style and grace. The porch and Gazebo are a lovely addition to this property. The beach which is walking distance is pristeen and very private. All that this Inn promises is just what we received.

We are looking forward to visiting with them again. We highly recommend this Inn for the pleasures you seek. Whether it is romance, time away to reconnect, or just try something new.
