Place looks like a dump on the beach, but don't let that fool you. I had a local suggest this place to me. We went in, and it is like eating outside on the beach. No air conditioning, and very uncomfortable. Special drinks were great, and fairly priced, then the food came... WOW. Everything was fantastic. Prices were great for what we got. We left stuffed, without the whole empty wallet feel. Great place to relax after climbing the light house.

This is probably one of the most inexpensive and good lunches we've had since we started vacation. a 2 for one lunch for 8 dollars, and 2 dollar beers. Our server was a nice surfer type gentleman, and very polite. The views are nice. No airconditioning, but they have an inside area, and lots of fans blowing on you to keep you cool. Our lunch was enjoyable.

Local friends recommend for us to eat here. We arrived not knowing we would have to pay to park. The change machine did not work and the restaurant did not have change for us. Luckily we were staying close and decided to go back to our place, get some quarters and return. Best decision we could have made. Three of us ordered cheeseburgers and my husband ordered the jerk chicken salad. The burgers were excellent as was the jerk chicken salad. The chicken had just the right amount of spice, not so hot you could not eat, but still had a nice kick. If you are visiting the lighthouse, this restaurant is a great place to stop for a burger and drink.

While visiting Tybee Island, we found a quaint restaurant on the beach across from the Tybee Island Lighthouse. We kept smelling this wonderful grill scent lingering in the air and had to find it's source. You will be surprised when you get your food and how large the quantity for your money is. Their burgers are made from fresh meat, not a preformed pattie and come with home-made, skin on french fries. For desert, you must try their awesome White Chocolate Key Lime Pie. It is like having fudge in a pie crust! You can not image putting the two together but they will make your mouth smile! Have fun and enjoy the reggae music playing.

We (seven in all) just got back from having a tremendous meal. The fried plantains & salsa appetizer was delicious. Everybody raved about their respective meals -- from the crab & asparagus, to the Jerk Chicken sandwich to the fish sandwich to the hot chicken wings. Even my vegan daughter raved about her Portobello Burger. To top it all off the white chocolate key lime pie was to die for. The service was excellent even as we moved tables because of the flash thunderstorm.

We will definitely be back!
