We took the sunset tour on Tybee. The weather, staff and overall tour could not have been more pleasant. The narrator, Morgan, provided lots of fun facts about the surrounding area and seemed to be very knowledgeable about dolphins in general. We learned much about Savannah, Tybee and the sea life of the area. Seeing the playful dolphin in their natural habitat is something I will always remember. If you have the time, I would highly recommend setting sail with the Dolphin Magic.

I feel the advertisement was mis-leading .. the boat went at a snail's pace and it was really hot. However. we did see a lot of dolphins and the tour guides did a nice job of telling us about the area ..

Well, I am glad you enjoyed your tour other than the fact that it was slow and hot. There are times in which we are not able to pick up speed because of other boaters, kayakers and jet skis. As you can understand, safety is of utmost importance. Also, this is mating season for the dolphin. If dolphin are feeding or mating, we do not want to do anything to disturb or potentially injure them. While it is difficult to know why we went "at a snails pace" during the tour, there are times in which it is necessary. Other than that, our cruises are generally at a leisurely and breezy pace until we attempt to get the dolphin to jump at which time we do pick up speed. Thanks for your review.

Our trip was wonderful. We took our 19 month old daughter who loved the boat ride and seeing the dolphins and birds. We saw a lot of dolphins out swimming around. We were able to see a few hunting for food and two swam for a short period of time in the wake of the boat. We were hoping to see more dolphins up close, but most of them were pretty far out. The boat seats were hot when we first got on board. I would recommend bringing a towel to sit on. We couldn't hear the guy speaking for most of the ride because the boat was too loud, but what we could hear was professional and educated. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this experience to everyone!
