Owner description: Go to the website. Captain Harvey Ferrelle offers excellent boat tours around Tybee Island and I would like to write a review regarding the same. I cannot find a street address. He meets you at the marina where he keeps his boat on the very small Tybee Island.

What a great way to see and learn about the ecology of Tybee Isle. Capt. Harvey is quite informative, great with kids, worked hard to make it a pleasant experience. Nice small boat, could almost touch the dolphins!

Captain Harvey was fantastic. He allows you to customize your trip to see the things you want to see and do the things you want to do. He taught us so much and took us to a fantastic place to look for shells and sand dollars. We found 17 sand dollars in 30 minutes....and we had several dolphin encounters. Our family totally enjoyed every minute. Captain Harvey is the best!!

As our family (mom, dad, 9 year old boy & 7 year old boy) was planning our 2013 trip to Tybee Island a boat ride with Captain Harvey was a MUST for all of us! Just as our trip in 2011, this trip was amazing! Captain Harvey is a true Tybee local who is so knowledgeable of the area- we learned so much from him! From dolphins to tides to lighthouse restoration efforts, Captain Harvey patiently explains it all. We love that his boat accommodates only 6 passengers which allows a private tour for our family. The boat is clean and this cautious mommy always feels her family is safe with Captain Harvey. Captain Harvey's boat tour will be on our Tybee Island agenda EVERY time we visit the island.

I booked this as a surpise for our two girls and husband so they could see dolphins and to something different on our vacation. It was a wonderful surprise for all of us .Captain Harvey gave all of us a history and eco lesson so good our kids didn't realize what he was doing, he kept them involved from the start. The dolphins came right to the boat, and he knew just where to take us for shell hunting . We all hated to see it end, we had such a good time. Book early !! Don't miss this .

flyer many trips to Tybee and tours on other boats we opted to try to find a tour that would show us something new and different. Captain Harvey did not disappoint. From the first phone call we knew we had found what we wanted. What we got was a personalized tour from a true CAptain and gentleman. Captain Harvey was concerned about the weather ( as we were), as there had been scattered thunder storms in the area. So we decided to go out earlier to beat the rain. We headed out into the back bay toward Little Tybee. We saw many dolphins. Saw a couple up close as they approached the boat to check us out. We also had th opportunity to see several smal black tipped sharks. we also saw countless herons, egrets, and other shore birds as we toured the back waterways between Tybee and the main land.
We also learned a lot from captain Harvey about little Tybee, the Eco system, the Cockspur Light House and the wild life.
I would highly recommend Captain Harvey to anyone interested in seeing the beautiful back waters of Tybee.
