For the 2nd time they have left food out of the order. Their food is ok, their service is alright sometimes but don't trust them to get the order right.

I've had Chinese food in 8 states and three countries. I don't like bologna on white bread. I do like Mandarin Palace. I eat there about once a month.

The wait staff has an authentic niceness about them. While the service is not polished or pompous, it is genuine and thoughtful. The food is consistent - I know what I'm going to get when I order a given dish. That's important, This is not high-end califusian food. It's just good neighborhood Chinese. It's like mac&cheese, but chinese.

The delivery service is prompt. The food shows up hot!

This place falls squarely into the category of "cheap Chinese" food...the kind where everything tastes more or less the same and all the meats are overly tenderized, almost gelatinzed (because they're of low quality to begin with). The restaurant is located in a strip mall fairly close to I-285. It appears to cater to a low-brow crowd seeking $5.95 lunch specials or the usual dinner items found on the dinner menu at such places...I honestly don't know how anyone who has had good quality Asian food would eat at this place more than once...

The service is slow, as the owner/manager appears to hang around the front and work the register, while rarely helping the one waitress who doesn't have much serving skill and seems to be allotted all the tables. She isn't the brightest and left a lot to be desired in terms of follow-up.

The mediocre ambience and poor service might be overlooked if the food was great; unfortunately, this place is poor even by the standards of low-level Chinese take-out places. They seem to be surviving because of the location near lower-middle class neighborhoods and some industrial and retail parks that provide a stream of people who, for lack of a better way to put it, probably think that bologna on white bread is pretty good...

The food ranges from mediocre to downright bad. No way around it.

In sum, avoid at all costs. This place would need to hire a chef, and several trained wait staff...and remodel the interior...to improve this place.
