My husband and I eat here on most Sundays after church. It's a great local spot with kind "folks" and family gatherings. The food is excellent with great flavor. The menu throughout the week changes, but on Sundays, it is basically the same with butterbeans, green beans, mac and cheese, rice/gravy, fried chicken, baked chicken, dressing/gravy, peach cobbler, and even a salad bar. Don't forget the banana pudding! The food is consistently delicious in both taste and calories. Vegetables are seasoned with the southern touch of ham hocks and fat back! Since it is a buffet, the price is reasonable. If you like to eat healthy with low-fat choices, this is not the place for you, but if you yearn for the cooking of Grandma, it's a winner. The only "con" might be that it does get crowded after church, making the place a little crowded and warm. The décor isn't fancy and has a rather "worn" look about it. But don't let this scare you away from a great meal.
