My father and I were in town for the Smoke on the Water BBQ Festival and chose the Days Inn. I guess for $60, we got what we paid for, but I would expect a little more even for $60. Very dated, dark, stained carpet, box spring (I didn't dare check the mattress) and towels were sandpaper.
Breakfast was even less than you'd expect, the front desk was polite.
If you're a contractor booking rooms for your crew staying out of town, go for it. if you're in town with the family, keep looking.
