We stayed at the hotel for 1 night and it was a good location for us to play golf at Stone Mountain.
The carpet is so old it is discolored. Old bed coverings, and we had no shower curtain. I would not stay there again. I found it to be over priced. The hotel is so in need of renovation. We decided to stay at another hotel for our next night.

Great location in terms of its proximity to Stone Mountain park. However, the property needs to be upgraded badly!. The hotel smells like it's not clean. The carpet in the hallways are awful. The rooms and especially the bathroom was not up to par at all. I could not wait to leave!

Room Tip: None, go elsewhere!

We stayed at the Comfort Inn at Stone Mountain for two nights at the end of July with our two grandchildren, ages 2 yrs. and 7 yrs. We liked the closeness to Stone Mountain so that we could leave there and go back to the room in the afternoon for rest and a swim in the pool before going back for the laser show. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. It was nice to have an elevator as well as stairs to get to the upper floors. The indoor pool made it nice to enjoy with the grandkids during the heat of the afternoon The pool area was clean and towels were provided. We really enjoyed the variety of the breakfast that was served. The only negative was the awkward way of getting to the hotel. All in all, we would recommend this hotel due to the friendliness of the staff and it's location to Stone Mountain.

My husband, daughter, and I stayed at this hotel while visiting my sister in the area. If you are visiting the area for Stone Mountain, Comfort Inn & Suites and very close to the park so that is definitely a pro.

The staff member we encountered was very friendly, and helpful. She even had to play a dual role as a maintenance woman! My husband went to get a soda, and when he came back he realized he was able to open the door without his key. He went downstairs to let the front desk know, and the young woman immediately came up to check on the problem herself, and then fixed it (the lock needed new batteries).

The hotel itself was in decent shape. Walking in, it sort of felt like you were going into someone's home, there was a nice feel to it. Our room was on the third floor, and we did notice the hallway definitely smelled like cigarette smoke. We had a non-smoking room, though, and the odor did not continue on into the room. The room was simple and clean enough. Our alarm clock didn't work and I unplugged it to charge my phone, and there was quite a bit of dust on the cords, but that's not something most people would notice! The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean. We didn't see anything that caused us concern.

The breakfast they offered was nice -- fruit, pastries, cereal, a waffle iron and batter... It looked like the food was plentiful and there was a nice variety, at least everyone in our picky family was satisfied!

If you have kids, the indoor pool would be a big hit! It's deepest point is only 5 feet, and it's rather narrow, so it feels nice and safe!

While the hotel could probably use a quick once-over to update it and maybe tidy it up, but overall it was a fine place to stay!

We stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites for 2 nights in mid-July. This motel is in a great location if you are planning on visiting Stone Mountain - about 5 minutes away. We liked that we could leave the park and go back to the motel to rest before going back to the nighttime laser show. The staff was awesome. I needed to fax some documents and both the nighttime and daytime managers helped me out with this. The breakfast was good - a cut above other Comfort Inns that we have stayed at with hot sausages, eggs and donuts.

This is not a new property and our room was showing it's age. There was a small hole in the wall, the fabric on one of the desk chairs was torn and the paint was peeling in some spots. There were also several large stains in the carpeting. Our room could have been cleaner too. The business center (a PC in a closet) could have been cleaner too as there were candy wrappers on the desk and floor and paper and pens strewn about.

Since we didn't spend a lot of time in the room, it wasn't a big deal to us, but may be for some others.
