We had heard about Snow Mountain and several friends have had a good time there. Tickets are a bit expensive, but that's also what you expect for a theme park - pay a large price and end up waiting in line for a while. The tubing was fantastic, but I would recommend going earlier so the lines are shorter. The thing that disappointed us was the snowball area. It was about 2 feet square. We were there with 5 children and they were throwing a couple of snowballs at each other - nothing too destructive. The attendant told us we were allowed to throw snowballs other than in the designated area - a bit difficult to believe when the picture on the website shows a kid with a snowball. Essentially it boiled down to safety, which I do understand given the nature of the snow but these rules weren't posted. However, at some point she was so upset she tried to get us kicked out of the area and went to her manager for support for her position. The manager didn't support her so she wasn't allowed to kick us out, but it spoiled the day. They were just kids being kids, not affecting any other parties and were under constant adult supervision.
